From consultation to installation I received a very personal service. Efficient communication and really lovely people to work with, Gemma and Jack were a gem.

I required 2 electric blinds for bifold doors. I found the Electric Blind Company online and their service was excellent from start to finish. Their administration was efficient and the range of choice and attention to detail by the fitter was exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From the start The ELectric Blind Company had a good liaison with our building contractor which took the stress away from us. The survey and fitting we’re both done by the same person which was professional and gave us continuity within the whole process. Our blinds look very slick and fit beautifully with our pocket doors, we would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase electric blinds.

I just got a concealed dual blind system installed (yesterday) in my new build apartment in 1 of the rooms; my balcony room. I wanted to have dual blinds so that one of them could be more sheer (known as a screen/ privacy screen) + the other to be blackout/ in front of the screen blind. The screen blind is more to adjust the amount of daylight/sunlight coming in according to what feels the most comfortable for me + it works as an amazing privacy screen for when you have friends/family over who could be on your balcony and you wish to have some privacy in your room. It completely blocks out any view from the outside in, during the day. However, it still retains the beautiful panoramic London view which I didn't want to compromise. The blackout blinds are perfect for wanting to sleep without the sun piercing you as it rises, or even when you just want to take a little nap during the day.
I opted for the hardwired system because I didn't want to change the batteries every 5 years, and just having it connected to the socket, just feels a lot more sturdy and creates more security from my perspective. It comes with a remote that you can use to decide whether you want to open/close both the blinds in one go, or separately, and of course you can decide where to stop the blinds midway.
I opted for a 5% blind material for the "sheer" aspect as I wanted to ensure the views aren't compromised and also because as I have dual blinds, it just made sense for me to have an inner blind that was more sheer than the blackout. I would definitely recommend checking out the different colours/materials that people have already installed via their website, to see what works best for you. I saw a video on the website with the dual blinds installed in Canary Wharf, and loved the aesthetics so that's when I knew that the 5% inner blinds were for me.
One thing to also note is that it is rare for a Blind company to accomodate to a large window with a door (just for an understanding, my window/French door had the following measurements in total: 216cm width, 228cm height), and in this case I was able to have a large blind without the need for a split, which was perfect!
I also have the blinds concealed, which is great because I don't want to have to see them when they're up, retaining the beautiful frame/view that I had prior to the installation.
This is definitely a more luxury/premium product, so if that's the look you're after, then this is the place :-)
Dawn/Gemma/Chris/Jack were all great to liaise with; they were super attentive and Jack installed the blinds very quickly. I was sent out additional fabric/colour samples as soon as I noticed the video on their website and I received them the next day; this helped me make a more informed decision of the colour scheme etc.
