Editorial and writing services couldn't be more spot on! The idea was quite complicated to begin with but the team managed to make it sound exactly like me. there was no faffing during the entire process, they did the job within the promised timeline and I'm absolutely chuffed with the end result.

Complete incompetence (or fraudulent)…
Complete incompetence (or fraudulent) in every phase of the publishing process except the editor. Here is the list:
1. Never coordinated with Ingram to allow the book to be ordered by bookstores or libraries
2. Promised to publish an arabic translated version of the book. They used AI and all my Saudi reviewers said there were numerous errors on every page. I had to pay a professor to professionally translate. The new translation was NEVER PUBLISHED as they promised
3. They have provided me with no means to purchase the book with an author discount which my previous publishers did
4. They were never able to get the book published on Amazon.com.sa (Saudi Arabia as the book is about Saudi Arabia)
5. The editor was very good. She was the only positive

As mentioned in our previous communication, we have made considerable efforts to address the challenges encountered during the publication of your book. Regarding the Arabic translation, we acknowledge that dialectical differences may have contributed to the issues you experienced. We engaged a professional translator for this process, but the nuances of Arabic dialects can be complex.
We also acknowledge the delays in the publication process. Factors outside of our direct control, such as Amazon's response times and UPS delivery errors, contributed to these delays. We have taken steps to mitigate such issues in the future.
We take pride in successfully publishing numerous books and ensuring client satisfaction. While the majority of our clients do not require distribution in the Middle East, we have published six Arabic books over the past 12 years. However, due to evolving policies and changes within Amazon's support system, the process has become increasingly challenging. The last Arabic book we published was in 2021, and since then, maintaining communication with Amazon.sa has been particularly difficult.
As part of our agreement, we committed to making your book available for purchase in Saudi Arabia, and that commitment still stands. Readers in KSA can order your book through the nearest Amazon store, which in your case would be Amazon Egypt. Nevertheless, understanding your concerns, we have actively sought assistance from Amazon.sa. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts, we have not received responses from their team, which we have transparently shared with you.
Despite these challenges, we have also gone beyond our contractual obligations to support the distribution of your book across multiple platforms. We remain committed to open communication and finding a mutually agreeable solution. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you directly.

Great experience
I recently had my second children’s book, This Duck Can Run, published with The Empire Publishers. The illustrations far exceeded my expectations, and Michelle provided professional expertise throughout. I was involved in tbd decision making process throughout, from the size of the book, type of text and illustration style. Very happy with my experience of using them. I would use again and recommend them highly.

A fantastic experience! …
I had a wonderful experience publishing my book through Empire Publishers. I’d had a dreadful experience previously publishing with Olympia and so was apprehensive about publishing with anyone again!
Michelle has been fabulous from start to finish, weekly updates, endlessly patient with techno phobic me with explaining the various stages of the publishing process!
Fantastic communication throughout and the end result is a book I’m proud of and happy to promote! It has already featured in a Sunday national paper and I have more newspaper interviews lined up.

Super Service
I cannot speak highly enough about Andreea and her team. I came to her with a problem after my last publisher let me down relating to a self publication project. She was happy to take me on board immediately and I was assigned my own Project Manager and Editor. Phoebe and Dianne have been immense. Professional, Supportive and above all Friendly - I wish I could think of a 'Super' adjective to sum up just how good they've been. I know this market very well, and I can honestly say that when it comes to price and service they leave all the others standing.
