I recently purchased an antique cabinet and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The cabinet arrived today, was very well packaged, and is exactly as described—beautiful and full of character.

Elena from French Bed Company answered my queries so quickly, identified what I needed and sent item in post virtually within a week. And it is exactly what I needed and works beautifully. It was an extending slatted bed base and has enabled me to use an antique French brass bed without the expense of getting a base tailor made. I would highly recommend this company.

The item looked ok but I suspect that the thread had been produced with a tapered tap as the threaded bar would barely go into it. Fortunately I had a plug tap and was able to make it good myself but I scratched the outer surface of the brass ball as it spun in the grips I was holding it with whilst correcting it.

This company is fabulous. We have been trying to find a solution for our lovely antique bed with a horrid base and finally we found these folks. We looked at so many options and they were either horrendously expensive or needed adaption and then we found The French Bed company and that was it. Their customer service is beyond exceptional.
