The Godfrey Method Avis 

We absolutely love The Godfrey Method! Our dancer needed some outside support for her goals and this program has been exceptional for her!

Wonderful content but I feel like it could be better organized. I have trouble sliding the forward and rewind red button on my phone…sometimes the whole video will just disappear. Also, I was initially attracted to the platform by seeing the use of resistance bands on instagram. I wish there was a way to view all the videos that use resistance bands… that would be helpful for me.

What a fantastic program for Teachers and students I love knowing that my instructors and I are working on the same method for a specific turn or leap or combo - the dancers have an opportunity to perfect their technique and achieve their goals.

Our students at MossavDance Academy enjoy working with Jon and Chelsey of The Godfrey Method. in every class the students learn something new and are able to apply this in all of their technique classes at our studio. we love that all ages are welcome into their classes and they take their time on strengthening, challenging, and motivating each individualm We encourage our dancers to always take home the exercises they have learned and have noticed these specific dancers have improved significantly. we always look forward to welcoming them back at our studio as it is a big highlight and the kids absolutely love it!

I’ve been using Godfrey Method with my daughter (9) weekday mornings, and hands down it’s been one of the most helpful tools outside of her in person dance instructors. She’s placed 1st, 2nd and 1st (overall most points) in each of her competitions. Love this (and it gives me the opportunity to bond with her…which I love the most).

The godfrey method has been in my daughters life since it strated and I could not imagine not having it. I like to compare it to the karate kid. It is the "paint the fence" and "wax the car" style of dance training. It teaches the kids to learn how to control their bodies and perform with proper dance technique. A great program to supplement with your dance training.

TECH x The Godfrey Method 2025 was an excellent experience for my 14 year old dancer. Montclair State Univ was the perfect location, it wasn't over-crowded, everyone had room to move and be seen. The mix of educators was appreciated. Would like to make sure the class stays tight and personal attention is given.

As a dance educator (and dance mom) the Godfrey Tech X 2-day intensive was like no other! My daughter and I both brought back very detailed exercises and skills to work on to improve stretch, technique, and even artistry. The guest instructors were excellent and Jonathan & Chelsea have so much knowledge to share- you have to go back for more!! We are already looking forward to the next event!

Godfrey Method Tech X was hands down the best experience of the year: training was intentional, the atmosphere was professional and every student was locked in. Most intensives give great advice or combinations, but Tech X checked both those boxes and more: the technique training was exceptional and intimate and students left with lots of tools in their pocket.

My daughter's experience at the Tech X was incredible. She enjoyed the specific technique training with the different instructors. She learned so much that she went back for in-person classes at their home location. The feedback from teachers, the venue, and the photographs were great. She is looking forward to attending the intensive in 2026.

My daughter has improved tremendously bc of the Godfrey method. The Godfrey training has made her a stronger and sharper dancer. Her experience at the TechX weekend last year was top notch ! She learned from great instructors and was challenged all weekend long. She can’t wait to go back again this summer !

I’ve been using this program for about a year. I started just incorporating the lessons into my class warm ups. I still do that but in addition I have added technique classes where each month I choose an area to work on. The dancers love the classes and I’ve seen their technique and strength improve greatly!

I paid for a year long subscription and was really under utilized. When I sent an email to the CS team about recommending exercise to improve a move that my daughter couldn't achieve, they only mentioned a list of things that was hindering her and was advised to check with her teacher instead of giving some exercises to help her with. I am quite disappointed with the CS reply.

I absolutely love the Godfrey method!! I never knew what I was missing until I signed up! You want to work on leaps? They’ve got it! Turns? Yep! Everything you can think of! I have been a dancer my whole life ( I’m 19) and I’m just now finding my fullest potential. Not only am I able to progress at my level. I am able to go back to the basics and work with younger dancers!

I am very happy with the on demand subscription service.
I was able to create a custom playlist tailored toward my dance goals and am already seeing progress.
The video instructions are very clear and would recommend to anyone looking to level up their technique.

Amazing tutorials and lessons to help dancers learn skills and become stronger. We’ve just started a few of the exercises and have already seen improvement! It’s broken down in an easy to use format and you can choose short videos for days you don’t have much time, or longer classes too. Really happy with it!
