Just wanted to write a review to make people further aware of developments that have been happening behind everyone’s backs. The company has operated until recently other the name one collection group now it operates under the name one management services. It seems that after all the bad reviews and backlash they have separated all bars restaurants etc into different brands and operating them separately rather then under a group “name” or brand because of how much backlash there was. Just in case you come across any of these company names be aware! Also names Richard Knox or Richard Thomas Knox, Kelly Knox, Natalie Ellis, Phillip Brumwell, Chloe Forrest, Gary Forrest, Rachel Turnbull, Gavin Fraser, Stuart Nevin. Please do not give money to their venues and hotels if you are from the north east!! They are con artists and deserve to go to jail - which hopefully will happen one day.
Lost Every Penny.…
I don't think I could rate High Street group or Hadrians Real Estate any lower. How they can live with themselves I don't know. I have lost all my and my late husbands savings and am having to manage on my old age pension. At 85 yrs old this is hard.
High St Group/ Hadrian Real Estate action group
If you are reading this, you may well be in the same boat as me, having invested in HSG a few years ago.
Like (reportedly) so many others, I have put money into the HSG (now Hadrian Real Estate), but now there is no realistic hope of getting any (or much) of it back.
HRE has recently been in touch with me asking for my investment details (which they should already have), and making suggestions about returns materialising in a few years, similar to those from HSG/HRE 1 or 2 years ago. I have no faith in the company or these suggestions; a glance at the Companies House records on HSG/HRE shows why that is.
Working as a group there must be an improved likelihood of getting back some of the investment, and I have tried to find an action group to join. However, so far I have been unsuccessful, and have always ended up at a dead-end or with another scammer.
If anybody has any information on a provably genuine action group, do please do post some details.
Thank you.
I loaned my kid's inheritance to The…
I loaned my kid's inheritance to The High Street Group. My husband and I spent our lives saving up the money. We worked for forty years for it.
We deliberately loaned out our money via "fixed term 12 month loan notes" as we only wanted to lend our money for a set, fixed length of time. We were repeatedly told it was guaranteed we would get our money back after 12 months, with only a potential maximum extension of 3 months.
Our loans were due to redeem in Q1, 2020.
We have chased up High Street Group and its Chairman etc. 1000 times. Never got a cent of our money back.
It's left our family in ruins. My husband and I have split up, because he blames me for having lost our entire life savings and we were having daily rows.
All the while, High Street Group and Hadrian Real Estate staff are laughing all the way to the bank.
The canny Chairman of HSG pays himself a guaranteed whopping six figure salary, year-in year-out.
He has asset-stripped HSG, transferring the valuable real estate to an incorporated company in his daughter's name. The company name is The ONE Collection.
The profitable Hotel 52 hotels and other valuable assets now belong to The ONE Collection rather than High Street Group.
We had debentures on those properties, and revenues were supposed to come to repay us and other retail lenders, but, instead, they have been siphoned off into the pockets of the Chairman's family.
None of the investors or any other organisation are doing anything about the Chairman's actions. I implore anybody reading this to please get him to stop filling his pockets with massive six figure salaries and bonus packages, stop him claiming eye-watering 'expenses' and stop the asset stripping so we can all finally get our loaned monies back.
A sad, sorry state of affairs, as all the other reviews also state.
Terrible firm

These people have taken everything from our family and should be put to jail. Avoid and boycott venues that make money for such vile people - Bar52, purple peacock, Ora tynemouth and Buddha lounge tynemouth as well. Do your research on who you do business with from these companies so you don’t get scammed or robbed - Gary Forest, Phil Brumwell, Richard Knox
The High Street Group aka Gary Forrest…
The High Street Group aka Gary Forrest conned us out of 50k of our pension . This man is a complete con man and he needs to be brought to justice by the police and the fraud squad . Even the government have been conned as in 2020 liz Truss was recommending the HSG as a good investment. Gary Forrest and his band of scammers need to be put behind bars and our money which has been laundered needs to be paid back. These people are monsters conning people out of their hard earned cash and pensions.
Invested, started to not receive my interest and now contacted by insolvent companies wanting money upfront
I invested with the HSG, I was offered the shares to continue. After the shares were complete all interest stopped being paid! After that no contact or responses! After finding that they are in administration I have been contacted by a company saying they can get my money back. I thought ok ill try this.... turns out as I am in a contract I will need to absorb a fee for terminating early... as to which I was content; after further emails I found out that this fee is not taken from my final payment but is needed up front! I was wondering if any other investors have had the same experience? The company claims that they have returned plenty of peoples money! I am feeling this is a scam for sure.
How are you allowed to operate?
How are you allowed to operate?? This company openly admitted the director Gary Forrest scammed people, sam person that owns MTK Newcastle (check interview online) who has nothing to do with boxing clearly involved with same very shady people and yet bars restorans hotels just taking the cash in. What is wrong with the country???

Avoid FFCC and Ward and Insolvency Practitioners
Don't respond to the FFCC who claimed to be working for the government. They claimed they can return all your invested funds to you. They are fraudsters along with a group of scammers who called themselves Ward and Insolvency practitioners. FFCC and Ward and Insolvency are under the same umbrella. They want 15%, to be more precise 30% of your total invested money with the HSG. A fake person called Richard Green will try to persuade investors to pay an initial 15% of their invested funds as insurance and they guarantee that the insurance is refundable which is a lie. Please do not respond to them. Avoid them. I hope they will be caught.
Fraudsters
The High Street Group has not just stolen my money, it's stolen my retirement. Why isn't Gary Forrest behind bars for fraud?
HSG Liquidation
I am being called repeatedly by a fast talking sales type from someone called FFCC who claim to be government appointed liquidators of HSG. He says he can get some or all of my investment back at no cost to me. He tells me they have successfully returned many people's money already. Sounds really dodgy. Has anyone else experience of this?
I will try and keep this review as…
I will try and keep this review as short as possible. I don’t understand how this people are still not in jail. If you live in the north east / Newcastle you know everything there is to know about Gary and his “partner” / security. Things are moving in the right direction but there’s only one issue. NO ONE gets paid if they go to jail - not even all these lawyers administrators etc so I reckon they’ll let them “do their thing” through One collection - previously known as High Street Hospitality and Hadrian Real estate for the right price!!! It’s going to be up to the people to make more noise nation wide about these scammers - more Pr more papers more truth. You don’t just move assets into your mates and daughters names, you don’t just ask your mates to be directors of different companies to cover yourself (all this information is publicly available companies house etc) and go around pretending you’re a victim.
Thieves
Thieves, living the big life off other people's money, that CEO Garry lives in Washington bottom of Vigo Lane and spent our money on big boxing events in Vegas, sporting events and concerts at Wembley, burned through it like there was no tomorrow, absolute digrace if this cretin doesn't get locked up.
Us Two
We could find no bad reviews despite an exhaustive search in 2018 and up to 2020 so over the time acquired two 7 Year Loan Notes. Now it is a different story. There is so much bad press with LNHs saying their interest was not being paid. We are probably our own worst enemies for believing that it was only us as individuals affected. The glossy print from the company was certainly misleading. We are yet to see where HRE fits into the picture and whether the shares will be realised. But we all new it was high risk. It said so on the information and there was never a guarantee that we would get our money back. This is the reason why all the eggs should not be in the one basket. I am wary at this stage about the administrators. They appear to be trying to milk the cow rather than managing it out to pasture or sell it.
