Good Performance, Shorter Lifespan on Large Units
I've bought around 10 ultrasonic foggers form HoH in various sizes from the smaller units all the way up to the 12XL. Each perform well at first, and I certainly run them hard. That being said the 9 or 12 disc circular units have outlasted multiple 12XL's which are much more prone to the springs under the discs rotting out or failing for other reasons. I have 2 XL's running in a tote and after 6 months or so 9/24 discs were functioning, and the running discs showed significantly reduced output. I had an old 9 disc unit that has been running for 1-2 years with a 12XL in another tote and the 9 disc unit was still functioning perfectly while the 12XL lost 6 discs with reduced performance on the remaining 6. I service each unit every 2 weeks by cleaning them and removing the discs to clean/remove any water that leaks in underneath. I've since switched to the 12 disc non XL units which work great. Overall great product and I'll continue to use them just be wary of the 12XL's for extended heavy duty use.
