Really informative session on finance basics for non-finance directors. Sarah the course lead was knowledgeable and helpful, helping us get through the material, whilst stopping for questions and conversation on the way.

During my course, I met a great group of like-minded lovely women. All aspiring to learn how to excel in our job, gratefully provided to us by Heather Baker. Heather sought out a day session that was in-depth, educational, and enjoyable. I came away from the session having learned what I can apply to my role to help excel in my duties whilst helping others along the way. Highly recommend!

Super engaging, I found it really helpful at the beginning to learn more about the reasons why people think in certain ways and the associations.
The day was really enjoyable and funny, I’ve been to lots of sales trainings before and this way definitely the best one with the content. I particularly liked having the note book that we could annotate during the day, rather than just taking random notes that I wouldn’t be able to understand at a later date.

I participated in the training as I thought it would be beneficial for me as a people professional to understand the content that was discussed so we can support others within the organisation, and I was pleasantly surprised to have taken more than just that from the course. Shona was a great trainer, she was clear, understanding and engaged with us all. The content of the course gave us all pointers on how we can improve and manage our resilience.
We look forward to using The Hub Events and Shona again.
