The product arrived in great time, it was a lot higher quality than I expected. I ordered the Carter in December 2023, and I am making this review a year later in December 2024. I have nothing but great experiences with the blade. I have dropped it numerous times with no signs of blade wear. Opens and cuts just like day 1. 5/5
Package missing. Taking an extensive amount of time to send out a replacement and resolve issue. Poor communication from both james brand and fedex. Customer has to follow up. Otherwise, they will not bother to reach out to the customer. Horrible first time experience. Will never ever purchase another item from this brand. They have my money, but I do not have my product!!!!
Attempted to cancel an order within moments of making. JB processed my order and sent it anyway. I received a late email from customer service stating that my order had been processed and sent. The JB website states my order is unfulfilled. Terrible Customer Service. Never again will I shop James Brand.
I bought the Ellis because of the knife and scissors. Unfortunately the clip on the knife is very cheap, it bends really easily and can’t be replaced. Eventually the knife wouldn’t stay on my pocket anymore. Also I wrote a review on the site and they deleted it, which leads me to believe that they are artificially teasing the ratings.
Dishonest advertising in combination with Huckberry to sell products that they do not have in stock. James Brand items I have purchased are poor quality and fragile which eliminates any chance to return. I unfortunately have purchased several items before I learned the truth about the quality versus the marketing,
Bought two knives for my first purchase. First off they didn’t apply their promotion discount correctly and over charged me and then the delivery time was much longer then anticipated. The European customer service was slow to respond. I had follow up queues around the size of the torx screw to switch out the clip for a lanyard on one of the knifes and CS Europe didn’t know the size. Eventually I bough 2 brand new torx screwdrivers which stripped immediately without even removing the screw. Now I have a knife with a wobbly clip that won’t loosen or tighten having spend £20 on torx screwdrivers and £25 on the ulu lanyard. Again customer service this time in both Europe and USA slow to respond. The knifes aren’t cheap so expected better service and knowledge and the knife with the wobbly club is really unappealing to carry. Pretty disappointed with the product and experience
