The Key Clinic Avis 

After hearing Chris Evans talk about the Key Clinic on the radio, his experience as a parent rang so true to ours with our son. I was initially skeptical about retained reflexes, not wanting to get my hopes up, so I did some research and found a few tests online. I tested my husband our youngest daughter and our son. The comparison was clear between them. I found our son had several retained reflexes, but the others had just one. Our son was subsequently diagnosed with around 12 retained reflexes in 2020 and we began our journey with the Key Clinic. I will never forget watching him be tested in the clinic, seeing him read across a page and his eyes flickered when he got to the mid line. After years of sitting next to him reading I had never thought to watch him head on, I felt so guilty as a mother.

6 years on I can say that ‘breaking’ his retained reflexes was the beginning for him. Before this he struggled with handwriting, spelling, reading and laying down memories.

Last month we were able to share the most wonderful news that Will received his A-level results.

This was a boy who did not pass any SATs but following his journey with the key clinic in year 8, Will started to see results for his hard work pay off. He had a lot of catching up to do from his junior years but his hard work and determination paid off, he did pass his GCSEs which meant he could progress to sixth form. Over the last 2 years he has gone from strength to strength, representing his school as head boy and enjoy everything school life had to offer.

He received an A* in design technology and DD (double distinction) in Business Studies Cam tech, which would equate to AA. He is off to University with a Scholarship because of his grades, which is incredible.

A huge amount of grit and determination was required by our son to achieve this, but The Key Clinic undoubtedly gave him the building blocks to enable him to succeed. If your child is struggling with anxiety, difficulty getting started, hand writing, sitting down, reach out, it could change your child’s life.

Every time I have sat down to write this review, I have struggled to find the right words to express how extraordinary and life changing the Key Clinic and its programs have been for our son. This is a bit of an essay, but it was through reading the reviews that I decided to contact the Key Clinic, and so I hope this review will help at least one other family make that choice.

When reading this, I fully expect people to think it sounds too good to be true. Indeed, I would probably think the same if I’d not gone through it myself.

We’ve been working with the Key Clinic for about 2.5 years now, and my son has gone through the Auditory BrightBeatz, BioNutrient and NeuroMature programs. And wow, when I say it has been life changing for him, I really mean it. Our son was 9 when we started working with the Key Clinic, with complex learning difficulties, a diagnosis of ASD, ADD and sensory processing difficulties, as well as a speech and language disorder. He was unable to take part in group activities, always on the periphery with other children and peers, unable to follow verbal and written instructions, unable to write in a controlled and eligible manner, found day-to-day activities and what we deemed to be usual daily routines very challenging, and found it very hard to communicate with those that didn’t know him, due to his speech and language difficulties.

The program hasn’t been easy at times, it has been challenging to keep our son motivated and committed in a routine and continuous manner, but as soon as we started to see the differences in him, his achievements and satisfaction in things he was now able to accomplish, there was no doubt in our minds that we were in this program for the long run and for the maximum possible outcome for him. Through our one-to-one sessions with Katy (as well as Josie for BioNutrient, and Vanessa for the BrightBeatz program), the daily and structured exercise programs, and constant communication with the Clinic, our son successfully completed all programmes, most recently NeuroMature, and no longer has retained primitive reflexes (he had all . This is quite extraordinary for him. He is now able to take part in team sports and play with peers, communicate effectively with everyone he meets, his educational achievements and development have been frankly astonishing, his confidence in both his own ability and as a person has grown immensely, his coordination and motor skills have improved tremendously, and his writing, drawing, reading, as well as his overall learning growth is incredible. He is now not only able to swim safely, but has achieved several Swimming levels, he’s able to meaningfully take part in rewarding activities, follow increasing instructions and understand logical processes. He is able to achieve much more throughout his day, enjoy the satisfaction of those achievements, take part and enjoy spending meaningful time with his friends and family, participating in things that he was previously always on the edge of.

Working with the Key Clinic has improved so many areas of our son‘s life, it is impossible to put it all in one review. Things that were believed he would never be capable of, never be part of, or have the chance to enjoy, are now well within his reach. Every day he surprises us with more achievements, understanding and development.

I’m not going to airbrush it, and say that the program is easy, at times it was hard and frustrating to keep our son engaged in things, that we knew were helping him, when he couldn’t see it or understand it himself. We made the decision early on to do everything we could to support our son in having a happy, healthy, enriching, meaningful and wonderful life. To make things easier for him, and enable him to get the most out of every day, to give him the tools to do it. It is thanks to the Key Clinic that we have been able to achieve this for him, and I cannot express enough how extraordinary and life changing the Key Clinic and their programs have been for my son and our family. People have commented that it is almost like a miracle, because the differences in him are remarkable. I cannot recommend the Key Clinic, Katy and all of the team enough.

If you are unsure as to whether the Key Clinic and their programs are right for your child, please, on reading this take the opportunity and commit to it. For us, the results spoke for themselves, and if I could shout from the rooftops for everyone to understand how incredible the differences are, I would.

We will be forever grateful to the Key Clinic for everything they have done for our son and our family, and I am so glad that I made the decision that day to contact the Clinic and see if they would be able to help my son. If I had missed that opportunity, I don’t like to think about everything that he could have missed in life.

From the very first Biomedical assessment appointment, Josie, our bio-nutrient practitioner was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to get to know our son and had a good understanding of his needs and what we as parents were wanting to address.
She supported us at every step, suggesting changes to treatment when needed, but not unnecessarily. Our son has AuDHD and struggled with anxiety, poor sleep and low mood; after some blood/urine tests, Josie was able to devise a program of supplements that have supported any biochemical imbalances and addressed emotional dysregulation. We had regular follow up sessions to discuss improvements & any changes to treatment - there have been very positive improvements for our son over the last year & we feel that this has been as a direct result of the our sessions with Josie.

The overall experience with key clinic has been fantastic from start to finish. Josie has been very friendly since our first meeting and a comforting presence through this journey. She’s been a great help and very patient in every meeting. We started off by talking through our aims from the service and what tests would be suitable based on our son’s profile. Josie explained everything step by step and was very helpful with any additional questions we had. We felt like we were in good hands and her experience shone through. The regimen that we settled on not only took into account the supplements needed but also how they would fit in with our routine as a family. We’re very pleased to have found this service and can already see long lasting benefits.

We found our experience with the Key clinic positive throughout and the process a transformative one for our 13 year old daughter. We would highly recommend the clinic to others and are grateful for the calm support that Emma gave us.

The neuromature program has been transformational for my son who has ADHD, reducing his anxiety and improving his behaviour, writing and comfort within school.

We embarked on a journey with our 8 year old son, following a recommendation from a friend.

Emma was friendly and supportive throughout. The whole process lasted nearly a year and covered Auditory therapy and Neurodevelopmental therapy. Both therapies have had a positive impact and whilst the auditory therapy did not rebalance our son's hearing completely it did bring improvements. The Neurodevelopmental therapy certainly does take commitment, which they told us at the start, but again for us did generate positive results and we now have a calmer and less fidgety child.

We've been working with the Key Clinic for around four months now. We have seen great progress with our six-year old boy, having used all three programmes (Bright Beatz, Bio Medical and and Neuro Mature). The work that the Clinic has done with him has looked at the root cause of his symptoms and we have as a result been able to correct his zinc, ferritin and b6 vitamin deficiencies. Illustrating the progress that has been made, our son was awarded the end of term class prize at his school. We were so happy to discover Key Clinic after years of searching for ways to help our daughter with Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. We have just finished a 6-month nutritional regime with amazing results. The biomedical report made us understand what our daughter’s body needs. The dedication Bhavini (focused on addressing biomedical imbalances) and Nikki (specialising in neurodevelopmental exercises) showed in supporting our son went far beyond our expectations. In just six months, his progress has exceeded what we had hoped for, improving his regulation, boosting his reading skills, and helping him overcome challenges he once faced. The programme focuses on strengthening the core of your child, tackling root causes rather than just masking the difficulties through labelling from the education system.

After following the 'Brightbeatz' and Neurodevelopmental programme for our son we almost didn't choose to follow the Biomedical programme as he was making great progress. I am so pleased that we did! Our son has mild autism and through the Key Clinic was diagnosed with Pyrrole disorder. After following the Biomedical programme his sleep, anxiety, mood, concentration and motivation have improved immensely. Josie has been an absolute delight to work with. She is a great listener, professional, kind and caring and has been an enormous help to us throughout the programme offering great support every step of the way. We approached the Key Clinic on the recommendation of a friend and planned to do the work on retained reflexes for our 10 year old son, but it was recommneded that we try the BioMed programme with Maria first. Having been a complete skeptic about supplements and the importance of our gut biome, I am completely converted. Our son was volatile, angry and having toddler style meltdowns, and was unable to follow even simple instructions at home.

After the first few months (where we couldn't see any progress) about three months in the changes really started showing. He is now calm, responsible and almost completely self-sufficient. He is happier at school and finding it easier to make friends, and our home life is a lot more peaceful. He has also stopped having the frequent infections that had plagued him for the last three years (requiring antibiotics about 6 times a year).
Maria has been lovely - so supportive, and really listens to the feedback so we weren't having to force massive dietary changes on an already picky eater.

Our family has been with The Key Clinic for over a year, and my teenage son and I have had the pleasure of working with Bhavini. Her patience, attentive listening, and understanding of our family dynamic have been invaluable in helping us find a healthy way for my son to manage his ADHD. The deep insights she has provided into his well-being, along with the use of supplements, have not only improved his overall health but also positively influenced his mindset. It has been reassuring to know we are supporting him on the path to a happy and healthy adulthood. While The Key Clinic is an investment, I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a natural approach to health and well-being.

Both of our children (twins age 10 years) attended the clinic. Both completed the NeuroMature Program and one, in addition, completed the Biomedical Program.

Over the months we saw a number of changes in both children in concentration, focus, calmness and sleep patterns - however, the improvement was more pronounced in the child who followed the biomedical program too. At school there was an improvement in academic work.

The team are highly skilled, knowledgeable and extremely professional. The clinicians were very approachable and provided all the information and guidance we needed which made the process easier. They were also available for further questions as needed.

I can't recommend the great work that the Key Clinic does enough - excellent! Our thanks go to all staff however, we would like to highlight Emma and Olga for their outstanding support throughout the programs. They are two outstanding health professionals.

It felt like a shot in the dark, as we really did not know if all the suggestions from the Key Clinic would work (or really understand how!) but a year on and the changes were amazing. We may have started late as our child was 13 when we approached the Key Clinic, but we went from an angry, depressed child who didn’t even want to sit GCSEs and couldn’t wait to leave school, to a child who is now thinking about A-levels, is happy, social, keen to participate and even willing to compete! I am not going to lie, at times it was challenging and a lot to take on, but you are guided and helped along the way and within 3 months we could see benefits. The earlier you start this process the better!
