Beautiful properties. They are quite new and tastefully furnished with quality equipment. 2 parking spaces are a bonus although not needed to walk into Wells centre as in a very good location. Only slight negative would be lack of comfortable seating for 4-6 guests in lounge area (maybe a corner sofa would suit better).This was in “Atlas”, I think some of the bigger properties had plenty of seating. Small plumbing issue was resolved in the same morning as we raised it. The generous welcome pack was a lovely touch too. We would recommend and also visit again.

Great location, walking distance to the town and range of restaurants and shops.
The property is very well furnished and equipped and everywhere was very clean.
The team have been most helpful and supportive throughout the booking process and stay. Thank you.
On a personal note we both found the beds hard - may be mattress toppers would help.

We stayed at Anglers Retreat over the late August Bank Holiday weekend. The house is beautifully decorated with nice furniture and finished to a high standard.
The location is excellent for visiting Wells with only a very short walk to Staithe Street and the quay.
Two parking spaces is a real bonus in Wells and the enclosed garden was a must have for us with a dog.

All in all we had an excellent stay in a beautiful property but the price is premium and considering that If I had any suggestions to improve the property/experience they would be:
- the welcome basket is a nice touch, it would be even better with local produce given all of the independent shops on the doorstep.
- it would be nice if there was some miniature body wash etc in the bathrooms (this might only be me as I forgot it and had to walk to the local shop to buy some!)
- it would be great to have a king size bed in the main bedroom, I think it would fit!

If eating in Wells I would highly recommend pizza at Flour! and the Sunday lunch at The Globe Inn.

We stayed in Mariners Rest for a week late August. The house is quite well equipped and Jenny was quick to provide a cafetière when asked if there was one. House is presented nicely and was clean. However, it is top heavy, with 3 larger double rooms and a smaller lounge and kitchen. As a family of 3, with a couple of small dogs, this wasn’t an issue, but with 6 people it would be tight. The small outdoor garden was a sun trap and secure for the dogs, so having the patio doors opened created more space. Only a few niggles - the outdoor umbrella was broken so when reported was taken away to repair, but wasn’t replaced during our stay, meaning no shade at all in the garden and no dish cloth provided. Lastly - this could have been more of an issue than it was as we were all in the house, but the internal door handle broke on my son’s bedroom, trapping him in the room. Again, Jenny offered to resolve this within 24 hours. Great there are 2 car spaces per property, one with an EV charger too.

We had two houses booked for our family , nothing was too much trouble in providing the extras for our family, loved the houses beautiful furnished and well equipped. Great location and parking. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special experience

The property is situated in a very convenient position , close to all amenities. It is beautifully furnished and very clean, although we did need to clean the BBQ before use. We did need to remind you that we had requested the two single beds be put together. This was actioned the day after our arrival.

Real dilemma. Should be 5 star, for cleanliness, facilities, Jack and Jenny. On the surface, perfection. But, and it is the But, that caused discussion over our break! There are several niggles, individually small, but together, the cause of some discomfort and annoyance. Nowhere to put shoes. It's a 3 bed house. Assume at least 2 pairs per occupant, that is 24 shoes to find a place for. Downstairs loo, mirror too high, and no mirror above wash hand basin. Yes, one would have fitted in the space! The slope at the back door is inconvenient and dangerous frankly. Everyone, from the age of 10 to 75, felt vulnerable when carrying anything either in or out. No hooks in bathrooms or bedrooms. Nowhere to put damp towels to air, so many faux plants making rooms feel dark. Nowhere to place spectacles conveniently for the many people needing them immediately prior and post showers. In the winter, anyone sitting on the loo, including small children, will burn themselves on the radiator. Atlas Place was otherwise much enjoyed by us. It is well equipped and very clean. Although, it mght feel a bit cramped without access to the garden. Without doubt in a great location with a high end spec.

We had a fabulous stay at Anglers Retreat at the end of June. The accommodation is high spec & offered everything we needed for a few days self catering. We had a couple of queries and both Jack & Jenny were exceptionally efficient & very friendly. Walking distance to quay & all local amenities. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Drayhorse .
Jack was so helpful with the booking and any issues we had Jenny was straight on it .

Drayhorse is a beautiful house , the Hot tub was a great added bonus .
We then moved into Anglers , again a stunning house .
No issues with either , 5 star accommodation !

We stayed at The Drayhorse, Mill Lane and were thrilled with the high quality furnishings that made this accommodation stunning: the outdoor space and facilities are superb, location is fabulous, just a short stroll to shops, restaurants and harbour.
Being the height of the heatwave, the fans thoughtfully provided were much appreciated and Jenny made sure that we had everything that we needed.
We can highly recommend this holiday home - clean, well equipped and stunning with helpful and welcoming hosts. We will be back next year!

Had a fabulous one week stay at The Pineries in June, a beautiful place to stay,decor was great,fab interior design, lovely large garden with nice furniture and Hot Tub, enjoyed being in Wells , luckily we had great weather too, Jack and Jenny were a great help and so lovely, we would love to stay again. We stayed in the Pineries and what an amazing experience! Walking into the property to find an amazing grand entrance that leads into a stunning kitchen diner, with an immaculate garden are hot tub. The property was in amazing condition, great location and great amenities included, we felt very spoiled indeed!

We stayed at the Mariners rest, which was a beautifully appointed bijou property. Although it had 3 double bedrooms, we thought that to stay there for more than the weekend with a full house would have been very cramped. We were very lucky to have had great weather, so we were able to fully utilise the outside space, all day every day.
There were one or two minor issues which were very quickly responded to by Jenny the manager.
It is situated within an easy walking distance of the harbour, and there is a bus stop just round the corner if you wanted to use the coastal hopper, plus having 2 parking spaces was a great bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at The Drayhorse and would highly recommend it. The house is beautifully presented, spacious, and incredibly well equipped — everything has clearly been thought about to make your stay comfortable and easy.

One of the highlights for us was the outdoor space. We enjoyed having a BBQ and making the most of the garden, and the hot tub was absolutely lovely after long days out — such a nice touch and definitely made the stay feel extra special.

Overall, The Drayhorse was the perfect place for a relaxing break and we’d happily return.

We stayed at the Drayhorse as a group for my partners birthday and had such a lovely time. The interiors are absolutely beautiful and the whole place feels really well looked after. Jenny was brilliant too, really helpful with any questions or concerns we had throughout our stay.

The outdoor barbecue area was perfect for socialising and relaxing, and the location is great with the beach just a short distance away. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights in The Drayhorse. The property was beautiful. A lot of thought has gone into these homes to make the stay for their guests a great experience.
Booking was extremely straight forward and a couple of questions that we had prior to arrival was answered promptly and efficiently.
We have stayed in many properties in Wells over the years but this is next level and we will return!

What a fantastic place to stay Anglers Retreat, pure luxury. Goodie box in the kitchen with plenty of treats. Will definitely be booking again in the future. A full selection of kitchen utensils with an added bonus of a charcoal BBQ. Would definitely recommend the accommodation, very close to the centre of Wells and the sea.

Our whole family & dog had a fantastic weekend at Mariners Rest. What an amazing house & location. Over the years we have stayed in Wells a lot of times & this is one of the best houses we have stayed in. Mariners Rest has got everything you need & we would recommend this house to anyone

We had a superb week staying at Anglers Retreat. The accommodation was perfect in every aspect a superb place to stay and we most certainly will be booking again.

The Drayhorse is one of the best places we have ever stayed (and we've stayed in a lot!). It was beautifully presented and from the moment we walked in we realised that this was quality accommodation.
Being only the third booking in there were some 'teething issues' but they were quickly sorted.
We looked to book this later in the year but it's all booked up. I hope the future holiday makers enjoy it as much as we did
