The Market Town Vet Avis 

Have used TMTV since Ken McBrien left Border and Border couldn't see our very sick dog for over a week.
We have been at our caravan for the last week and a couple of days ago Milo, our one year old Lab, got the squits, sorry can't spell diarrhoea! Today we found blood too. Phoned TMTV spoke to Rob who told me what I needed but in view of how far away we were he would be available for a short while after the practice closed.
We arrived just before closing time and were greeted by Amanda and soon went in to see Rob Milo's abdomen was checked his temperature taken medicines dispensed then finished our journey home. I would like to thank all involved at TMTV and thank goodness we still have one independent Vet in Oswestry who consider animal welfare above profit.

My husband and I recently had to take our leopard gecko, Leo, to the vet after he sustained a serious injury. We were fortunate to find Ben at this veterinary practice, who specialises in reptiles.
During our first appointment, Ben was extremely knowledgeable and performed an X-Ray to diagnose Leo's issue. He then prescribed several medications for us to try over 10 days.

Throughout the entire process, Ben took the time to listen to our concerns and answer any questions we had, even days after our initial consultation.

Unfortunately, despite all of our best efforts, Leo didn't make it. However, we were grateful for Ben's expertise and dedication in helping our little guy. He did everything within his power to ensure that Leo was as comfortable and as pain-free as possible in his final days.

The care and compassion that Ben (and the reception team) showed towards us during this difficult time offered some comfort, and we will always remember their kindness. We highly recommend Ben and this veterinary practice to anyone who has reptiles.

We have 9 pets and 8 have attended TMTV Shrewsbury and in an emergency case also attended Oswestry. From a C section, injuries, worm and flea maintenance, a paw injury, health checks, 6 night stay for severe sickness and many other visits we cannot recommend TMTV highly enough. We know our animals will get the best care for very reasonable prices. The monthly plan has proved invaluable and nothing ever seems too much trouble for the team.

A big thank you to all the staff at your Oswestry practice, for taking care and treating our guinea pig he was definitely in safe caring hands. You were all fantastic with him and with my daughter. I will definitely recommend you.

My dog recently had to be put to sleep and the treatment, caring attitude and thoughtfulness from Rob and the team at the Oswestry practice could not have been better. It’s a heartbreaking experience to lose a fur baby but they made it easier to cope with. I transferred to MT vets as my previous vet had become business orientated. We have never had cause to complain about our experience and cannot recommend this vet enough. In fact I have just had friend transfer her pets to the shrewsbury practice.

I took Babe my 8 month old kitten to be nurtured here. I was apprehensive as he is my baby but they treated him like he was their own and took so much care with him. Communication was spot on, I had a phone call once to procedure was complete and had a time arranged to pick him up. Everyone at the surgery was so welcoming and the prices are great too! Can’t fault this vet. Will definitely be back and recommending you too!

I cannot recommend Rob and Co enough.
Excellent vets, honest and trustworthy, have been using them as our vets for over 2 years and cannot fault them.
