Excellent company, we ordered late on Tuesday evening, they delivered Thursday before midday. There was a slight mix up, but Jamie dealt with it quickly and efficiently and everything was sorted out before lunchtime on Friday.
We would definitely order from this company again, the scaffold tubes and fittings were great value and excellent quality.
Highly recommended.

Quoted 2 times for jobs and both times received inacurate amunt of materials. Costumer service was blagging about regulations, but how can you refer to regulations when there isn't enough materials to get accross the roof.

Not the cheapest one, but clearly they are lucking skills to provide accurate quotes.

So easy to put together & a decent price too.
Honestly love their products. From shelving units to, what was supposed to be temporary and now semi-permanent wardrobe, we even used their sheet metal mesh in our campervan build.
Be careful to double/triple check your order as they pack and send super fast. Great service

I placed an order with the metal store Cleckheaton have to say my initial thoughts were how professional they were it was a pleasure until the order arrived they only supplied me half the thunderbolts that I needed so I rang up today and explain the situation only to be told we can supply you with the rest of the bolts but there's an extra charge and a delivery charge I think that is totally bad customer service

Ordered the climbing frame set with some extra pieces for my gymnast daughter and weight training son. Great kit arrived quickly went together easily - instruction's clear. Like the free cutting for any extras.

Convenient and reasonable price but be warned all of the items ordered were damaged on delivery.
Customer service were fairly dismissive, and just blamed delivery company. This may be true but they also need to take some responsibility as IMHO they didn’t package or prepare properly for shipping.
Offered to resend, but due to BH weekend I had already straightened and used the pieces.
No offer of discount or compensation to keep them.
Unlikely to use again….

Fabulous customer service ! Cannot fault them. From help with the initial design, Kira was helpful and quick to respond. All poles & shelves cut to suit and delivered within 48 hours. We were a few brackets short and these were couriered overnight free of charge. Finished unit looks superb. Would use again !

Fantastic experience. I'm honestly a little bemused by some of the other negative feedback I see for this company, and by the complaints - because everything listed is the exact opposite of my experience. I ordered a metal (brass) splashback. It was well made, delivered quickly, really well packaged, and the courier had tracking information and delivered on time. The whole experience was completely faultless. Highly recommended and would very happily use again in future.

Delivery date was not met, so had to wait in again. When it arrived the facing side of the splash back was marked. They sent a second one so had to wait in again and this was also marked. Customer service very poor and blamed others- would not use this company again. Just awful.

Very poor customer service. I did not receive any information about my delivery. I marked a time frame of over a week. Call them up to find out delivery status. Only option I get it be redelivery in Monday. If there is a problem with the delivery of the product in any other company, the customer is informed about it.Unfortunately not in this store.Please pay attention to customer service. I understand it's Friday and you want to go home as soon its possible but you have a customer awaiting on the other side.

Dreadful experience.

Ordered a handrail, one pole, three upright brackets, three angled brackets and two ends for a 2.5m handrail.

Brackets came. Pole did not. Sat with DX for over a week. Reordered the pole but asked for 2x3m rather than the original 6m as that proved difficult.

2 days after advised date the poles arrived.

Too late. The customer had gotten so fed up with me telling them it was on the way they went else where and I lost the job. And had my reputation hurt in the process.

Any company that picks the courier, has issues then blames the courier needs a reality check. You picked them so its your issue not their's.

I would not advise using this company for any of your metal needs. If you read this, order and have issues you only have yourself to blame.

Other companies do the same but are slightly more expensive. For a reason. The do exactly what they promise.

Excellent buying experience, when I needed scaffold poles. Easy and clear online store. Reasonable pricing. Low delivery fees. Punctual delivery. Friendly and helpful delivery man. Quality goods arrived carefully wrapped for protection. This is British service as it its best!

Good service but unreliable cutting service as none of the 24 lengths I ordered were correct, most were a few mm too short and others too long ! If really correct measurments are required I would avoid ordering from here based on my experience.

I needed to order some metal poles for my sun shade. I looked at several option, eBay, Amazon etc and found sun shade poles at silly prices. I decided to try The Metal Store instead and was a bit apprehensive as I had never heard or used this company before. The products I bought were great quality and the delivery was next day as advertised. Great experience all round and I would highly recommend them.

Goods tuned up, on-time and in excellent condition. To top it off, with a quick email and phone call we managed to get the goods upgraded to a pre-noon service.
