Love this place charming local pub fantastic food coupled with a great friendly service ❤️

I'm not sure where to begin! We opted for a roast dinner: the beef was undercooked and impossible to eat; the carrots and parsnips were overdone and too thin, while the greens, cabbage, beans, and sweetcorn were undercooked. Cutting the roast potatoes was a challenge. The diners beside me also left their meals untouched, so we all departed hungry. I won't be returning. Having recently enjoyed a delicious roast dinner nearby, this was far from comparable. I recommend inspecting the food before serving it to customers!

Group of us celebrated a friends birthday with an evening meal. The ambience of the pub and the service made for a really special evening.
I shared a ploughmans board and it was exceptional - will definitely be returning.

Excellent food I ordered a ploughman’s and omg so much food and so tasty, my husband had ham egg and chips the ham was off the bone you could tell as so tasty. I would highly recommend this pub staff really friendly and very clean and decor was nice, loads of outdoor seating and lots of drinks to choose from. We would definitely be back thank you 😊

Food, exceptional, range of beverages and the quality is superb, the staff here are above and beyond happy and helpful, and the whole experience is a must. Its very rare you find somewhere that has it all but this place does, theres so much choice, the quality is second to none and the welcome is brilliant. You will defiantly come back again and again.

This place does not disappoint! The portions are huge (go hungry). The food is great, we have been 4 times, more often in large groups and not one person has ever had an issue or duff meal!

The bar area is also really cosy, dog friendly, and the staff are super friendly, Luke especially. Calling him out specifically because he's been there every time and is consistently attentive.

Just had our 24th wedding anniversary meal lovely atmosphere and amazing service from Jess. Nothing too much trouble and beautiful food. No room for dessert 🥲😂🤣

A really good pub restaurant recommended by two local people we asked for a good place to have lunch. Their recommendation was justified. A lovely place both in and outdoors, helpful staff, quick ordering and service and food was exceptional. So much so we returned again during the week we were in Plymouth.

After a long walk stopped off at the Odd wheel not our first time here . Staff are always welcoming and friendly . This pub has changed hands a few times over the years . The new landlord and staff have made a real effort just by going that extra mile for customers makes all the difference. The food is delicious and always very well prepared and presented . The weekend entertainment is a big heat and lots of fun certainly pulls in the crowd. We came at Christmas and the carol service was beautiful and very busy .

Went to Wembury Beach today and stopped at The Odd Wheel for a cold refreshing drink before going home. Several drinks later and a family meal, we finally left very satisfied. Great drinks, amazing food, clean/ welcoming decor and perfect service. The staff were all so helpful and friendly (especially Luke). Worth travelling to so treat yourself…you will not be disappointed 🙂

My husband, daughter and I had the most delicious meal on Saturday lunchtime. The service was really good, the atmosphere was very friendly and we went home very satisfied. We will definitly return.

We have had a couple of meals at The Odd Wheel since it’s been under new ownership and have enjoyed every visit. Just back from our Sunday Roast - what can I say, other than absolutely delicious. Such a great plate full of great freshly cooked food. So much meat. Extra gravy. Will be booking again. Friendly greeting, happy helpful staff. Thank you Luke and team - 5star experience.

Where do I start! We ordered a roast dinner: the Beef was still mooing and inedible; the carrots and parsnips were so thin and overcooked, the greens, cabbage , beans and sweetcorn were not cooked at all. I could hardly get a knife the roast potatoes . The people sitting either side of me also could not eat their dinner so needless to say we came away hungry. Will not go back again. Having eaten a lovely roast dinner recently in another local establishment there was no comparison. My suggestion is you need to check the food before you deliver it to the table !

Great to have the Odd Wheel back in business under new ownership. Enjoyed another wonderful meal today with friends. Staff are engaging and helpful and food very appetising - already looking forward to the next meal.
