Right products and excellent service.
I bought the Thermapen 4 after reading many reviews of this and competing products - especially the apparently excellent Javelin Pro at less than half the cost. I purchased the Thermapen 4 after reviews showed that the Javelin Pro worked great until it died prematurely and customers were not able to easily contact the company for a replacement. At the Perfect Steak you can talk to a real person and the product has a 2 year real warranty. Delivery was fast and well packed.

First Rate Service!
This company has bent over backwards to help me with a minor problem with the item as it was received, going so far as to replace it with a new unit, and even enclosing a prepaid Express Post envelope with which to return the problematic one.
I would definitely deal with them again, and I cannot recommend them more highly!

4 Days for “Expeess” shipping.
Deleted my first review. Probably because it was bad. Then they sent me another review email so will see if this one stays. Took 4 days to get my products even tho they sent them “express”. They said the freight company was responsible and did refund the shipping fee but didn’t help me having my gear in time for my bbq. Would have changed my review but the fact you have deleted it misleads other customers.

I have personally looked into how this error occurred and I want to apologise for the late delivery of your order. Upon investigation, I can see that your order should have left us the same day but due to the high volume of orders we received that morning, your order simply didn’t get processed and instead of leaving on the 26th it left on the 27th. According to Toll Priority’s conditions, it should have still reached you in time for the weekend but like us, Toll are also experiencing higher than usual demand this time of the year and they must not have been able to complete your delivery in their normal timeframe.
I understand that it’s small compensation to you that we refunded your express shipping fee and I also realise you were well within your rights to review us poorly even though we did our very best to get your order delivered to you as soon as we could. I trust now you have your Thermapen and Ironstone gloves that you get many years of enjoyable service from them. As a company, we value all feedback, good and bad and as a result of your review, we’ve implemented a small but significant change to our dispatch system in order that this issue doesn’t happen again.

While the delivery of the thermometer was prompt unfortunately the postal worker who dropped it off did not follow instructions to leave parcel on veranda...so my rating refers more to their service than yours
