The Site Book Avis 

We were introduced to The Site Book by a a company that we work close with in construction, at first we were sceptical because we come from an welding and fabrication background, but looking at the reviews we thought we’d give it a go.

When we First bought the program and with myself not using computer much I was a bit lost so I thought I would get in touch with the helpline thinking it would just be computer based and they were just email me backwards and forwards but within 10 minutes I received a phone call to talk me through it, which was very helpful.

Nicola has a vast amount of information and knowledge about this program and if there’s been any problem she’s always been there to help us through it. We have now run the system for two months and don’t know how we’ve done without it for so long. A full set of Rams will take me 15 minutes which is just giving me more time to concentrate on other activities in our works.

This system has been great for us as we work on different sites, so I will have men on different jobs in different parts of the country. I can write a set of Rams and send it straight to them so they can continue with their work even if the job criteria changes halfway through.

The Site Book is a very useful platform for managing construction projects and keeping site documentation organised in one place.

I’ve found it particularly useful for setting projects up properly from the outset, managing site records, RAMS, inspections, inductions, daily information and maintaining a clear project record as the works progress.

From a construction management and Principal Designer perspective, having a structured system rather than information being spread across emails, folders and different platforms makes a significant difference. It also gives the site management team a straightforward way of maintaining the records that ultimately form part of the project audit trail.

The system is straightforward to use and, once a project has been set up correctly, provides a good framework for maintaining consistent documentation across different sites.

Overall, a practical and well-thought-out system that feels like it has been developed with the realities of managing construction sites in mind.

As a UK-based MEP engineer running a small company, I need RAMS that are professional, job-specific, and quick to turn around—whether for a service call or a new build, and that’s exactly what I’ve found with The Site Book.
The process is simple. I just describe the job in plain English, follow a few quick steps, and pick my tasks from their clear menu. Being able to edit tasks to add specific equipment details is a huge plus.
The final RAMS are clear, and complete with a risk matrix, CPP and COSH. Whether it’s refrigerant handling for maintenance or managing plant installation in a data centre new build, the platform appears to cover what I need. Documents look professional, are branded for the business, and are ready to distribute to my clients, streamlining the process from start to finish.
If you’re a contractor who wants to skip the admin headache and get reliable, straightforward CDM compliance, I’d definitely recommend giving The Site Book a go.

Very easy to use and great for our business

Great Platform at a really reasonable price. I asked for some help with customising work types and the next day they introduced a new feature to the site letting me do just that. Couldnt ask for better service!

This tool is great for ensuring I don't miss anything when documenting the Risk assessments and plans for my projects.

I can just enter the information and it does all of the work for me.

It creates Risk Assessments, Construction Phase Plans, COSSH Assessments, Site Induction papers and Method statements, all from the information I already have.
