The course was really informative. There was good flow, and an open dialogue, which made it easy to ask questions, without being put down. Being part of discussion groups, hearing personal examples, seeing impactful videos, and getting expert up-to-date information ensured that I left the course with the knowledge and skills to effectively use first aid if required.

Having completed several first-aid at work courses over the years, I can honestly say this one from The Skillzone was the best by far. Kevin was very informative and engaging with the class and ready to answer any questions that arose throughout the day. Highly recommended++++

The first aid training was excellent! The class was taught by a confident and competent trainer. He put us at ease through many practical applications on how to calmly and confidently deal with an emergency issue. I would definitely reccomend this company. Capped off with a realistic discussion on how to mentally deal with being in a traumatic experience, such as giving cpr, was the perfect icing on the cake!

I have done a few courses with the skillzone... Basic life support (BLS) in order to maintain my frec 3 certificate. I followed this up with a three day first aid at work course as part of my cpd and up skill and maintain what I have learnt, Kevin delivers a good and informative course and gives some good carer advice.

That was the best first aid trening.

The first time i have done first aid training in the workplace and i have had a pleasant experience , the training had a nice pace to it with lots of interaction with the team , the quiz was a good ice breaker .

Kevin was a super trainer. He was approachable yet knowledgeable and was able to keep the full 3 day training engaging, by using a range of different methods of teaching. I really feel like the days flew in. Thanks for a great course.

First Aid course was excellent and gives you real confidence to face an emergency situation head on. The 3 days were very informative and full of real life, practical examples and activities. Would definitely recommend to any business or individual.

The three day first aid course was extremely well facilitated and engaging. The facilitators were extremely knowledgeable and experienced with first hand examples, which helped to engage the group. It was made to be a fun and relaxed course, but maintained the seriousness and effectiveness of knowing the first-aid practices. Definitely recommend for future!!

Great interactive course, no such thing as a ‘stupid question’ … entertaining and definitely made you feel like you knew what you were doing. Very informative and Kevin was a knowledgeable assessor.

Can’t be any more enthusiastic in recommending The Skillzone! From meeting Kevin the owner everything has been great. Putting our heads together to tailor make plans to suit the kids and adults to implementing them was seamless. Every enquiry or concern was promptly answered along the way which put our mind at ease. Nothing was ever any trouble from the team.Well worth the value, not only in monetary terms but totally invaluable for learning and development across all ages.
