Booked a hen weekend through The Stag and Hen Experience and unfortunately had a very poor experience from start to finish.

I was initially given an incorrect payment deadline, which resulted in me communicating the wrong information to my group and having to cover payments myself until people paid me back.

The most stressful issue occurred when I received an email from the accommodation provider stating that my payment had failed, despite having already paid The Stag and Hen Experience a month earlier. This happened whilst I was away celebrating my birthday and I spent a large part of the day trying to find out where my money was and whether my booking was actually secure. The company later confirmed that this email had been sent in error.

After booking, the majority of administration was handled directly with the accommodation provider rather than The Stag and Hen Experience. This included forms, ID checks and booking correspondence, which left me questioning what value the agency was actually adding. I’m honestly not sure what I paid them to do?

Communication throughout was poor. There was no proactive contact before the event to check everything was in place, no message wishing us a good weekend and no follow-up afterwards.

When I raised these concerns through the complaints process, the initial response largely dismissed the issues on the basis that the event ultimately went ahead. Whilst they later acknowledged that incorrect information had been provided and that mistakes had been made, they declined to offer any meaningful compensation and instead offered a voucher for future bookings.

The accommodation itself was lovely and the hen weekend went ahead successfully, but that was despite the booking experience rather than because of it. Based on my experience, I would not use The Stag and Hen Experience again.

We had the most incredible experience with Stag and Hen! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, stress-free, and so much fun. The team especially Steve went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing time, and every activity exceeded our expectations.

The attention to detail, and overall experience made the celebration truly unforgettable. Everyone in our group kept saying how much they enjoyed themselves, and it created memories we’ll be talking about for years.

If you’re planning a stag or hen do and want something fun, professional, and completely hassle-free, I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end!

We used The Stag and Hen do Experience to book activities in London for my soon-to-be sister-in-law’s hen do, and unfortunately the whole experience let everyone involved down.

In April 2026, I travelled from Milton Keynes to London for the hen do. Some members of the group had already been in London the night before for additional activities booked through the company, and there had already been issues with those plans.

Due to the high levels of anxiety I face daily, as well as financial limitations, I had only booked the one day/night package. We had all paid £89 each for a Bottomless Brunch at Slug & Lettuce, followed by entry onto London’s Party Boat on the Thames. Meal choices had even been submitted in advance, so naturally we believed everything had been properly arranged.

However, when we arrived at Slug & Lettuce, the manager informed us they could not honour the booking. We were told this was due to failures from the company we had booked through, not because of anything our group had done.
We were then left trying to find another venue willing to accommodate a large group at short notice. The original booking time had been carefully planned around some group members’ medical needs, so this caused major disruption and distress.
The Maid of Honour was devastated, especially as there had already been problems with the previous evening’s activities. Attempts to contact the company at the time were unsuccessful, as nobody was available to help.
Not only did this completely disrupt the hen do experience, but it also caused additional financial strain. Many of us, myself included, had carefully budgeted and planned for this weekend since September 2025. Having to unexpectedly pay more for food and arrangements added unnecessary stress to what should have been a special occasion.

Following the event, the Maid of Honour contacted the company regarding the poor service and lack of organisation. While the company has effectively admitted fault, they have failed to provide a proper breakdown of costs or offer fair compensation that reflects the inconvenience, stress, and financial impact caused.

Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. What should have been a memorable celebration became stressful, disorganised, and poorly managed. I would not recommend using this company based on our experience.

The Stag and Hen Experience were amazing! We spent the weekend in Nottingham with The Dickorette (painting!) and Bottomless brunch as our activities. Everything ran so smoothly and it was such a good weekend. I couldn’t recommend them more!!

We stayed in Cardiff in the decks fifty large party house with hot tub. Really great house geared up for stags. Very clean, well kitted out with tons of games including pool, darts, air hockey as well the hot tub to keep everyone entertained. Short walk into town.

Karting and escape room as activities were both great!

The Stag & Hen Experience has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish and they are brilliant at what they do. I had to organise my sister’s hen weekend in Newcastle and if I’d have attempted this myself it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as well thought out or cheap.
For the money each of us spent we got a fantastic city centre hotel, we had a cocktail master-class with 2 course meal on the Friday and a bottomless brunch and Dreamboys show on the Saturday and every single thing was no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I was expecting to have to uber around for each event so we were all very happy and it saved us so much money.
Steve was very responsive from start to finish and answered any questions I had promptly.

I would absolutely recommend anyone organising a hen/stag use them, it makes it so much less stressful as they take care of it all for you!!

We booked our hen party through this company and had the best experience! We went to Leeds and everything was fun, exciting and so well organised. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Communication was excellent both before the trip and throughout, which made the whole process completely stress-free.

Highly recommend using this company for a hen party.

Booked a staff mystery trip from London to Krakow for 16 of us. We were hoping for help with accommodation but the company managed to find us great accom in a fab location, include shuttle bus to and from the airport, a guide who was so helpful with everything (from our queries to recommendations as well as being super accommodating considering we weren’t a hen or stag group), a pub crawl with a shot, all within our budget (which was a lovely surprise). The deposit and payment system meant everyone could pay me in instalments until the final payment was due which was really helpful. Customer service was amazing - when one of the rooms was accidentally booked for only one night, they not only refunded me immediately for having to pay for this in person but also covered card fee costs, just in case, which I didn’t ask for. Shout out to Steve - he was so helpful throughout and the organisation was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend for any large group trip, not just hens and stags! We had an absolutely brilliant weekend away!

Amazing staff at The Stag and Hen, Naomi helped me find our property 'The Mouse Shrewsbury' with very short notice. Steve knew everything we needed to know about the property and was more than happy to help with all my questions. The property is amazing, in a lovely rural area, very clean. Welcoming and well prepared for 8 of us to stay.

This company really took the stress out of my hands and helped to plan an unforgettable hen weekend. We stayed in a fab house in Chester, and did some fun activities throughout the weekend (really recommend the cheeky butler ;) would use again, so impressed with my weekend - thanks guys

Disgusting sewage smell from one bathroom all weekend making it impossible to use one bedroom.
Offered a tiny discount on another booking with them, so we could spend another few thousand pounds with them profiting from us yet again! No thank you.

We stayed at the amazing Anstey barn, it was absolutely perfect for a group of 12! Every room had an en-suite which was brilliant! Great cocktail making with Bartlomiej and the chef on Saturday night was spectacular, cooked us an amazing 3 course meal and even cleaned the whole kitchen! Thank you to Steve and Zoe for helping us organise a really special hen weekend!

I booked my friends hen do using the Stag and Hen Experience and I couldn't be happier with the whole process! They made planning the weekend so simple and were incredibly helpful, from having an initial chat on the phone to go through ideas, to suggesting locations, sending quotes and answering the many questions we had! A special mention to Zoe and Steve for all the help they provided over the last year. I’ll certainly be recommending this company to anyone who’s booking a stag or hen do, it saved so much stress!

What an amazing experience I had with stag and hen from booking until my event. We stayed in Manchester for a nude sip and paint, not just any old sip and paint they spiced it up and made it fun and enjoyable. After we went to TGIs for cocktails making and a meal. The stag and hen company accommodated my hen party with what every changes I needed and helped me find something fun for a reasonable price, with an easy way for everyone to pay. If I was getting married twice I’d definitely use your company again

I used stag and hen experience to book my best friends hen to and the weekend was absolutely fantastic and all ran so smoothly.
Everything we booked through the company, including accommodation, private chef, and a drag show for the Saturday night.
The chef we had was great, super friendly and the food was really good and took the pressure off the Friday evening after everyone had arrived.
The house we stayed at; urban boutique was amazing, so clean and a really great space. We never felt like we were on top of each other. We also had contact directly with the house owner who showed us into the accommodation on arrival.
We had our Saturday dinner and entertainment in Leeds which was only a 30-40min taxi journey away but I would always give yourself plenty of time to get to where you need to be as we just felt a little rushed, but that was completely my fault.
The drag cabaret was okay, the host and the private bar were a bonus so we didn't have to queue for drinks etc.
