It’s such a brilliant experience! Seb is so kind and attentive and friendly. His sessions are jam packed with fun practice, incredible knowledge and just perfect balance of praise and challenge. Sessions are very easy to organise, always delivered on time and above expectations. My teen son is having lots of fun and progressing nicely from ground zero thanks to unbelievable Seb’s patience. His passion for sport got me even considering to try it out myself! Thank you Seb!!

Sebastian was great from start to finish. I contacted via Instagram and had limited time in Edinburgh which he accommodated. I recently started surfskating to try and improve my surfing and he fitted loads of drills in that I could take back and practice. If you're in the east of Scotland and want some onland surf training I 100% reccomend doing a session with Sebastian 🤙

I have the opportunity of 4 lessons of surfskate with the surfskate academy! My experience through the sessions was Very well! The coach was analytical, with his instructions , remarks and comments were instructive for the better performance of surfskate technique.

I found The Surf Skate Academy as I was looking to learn to surfskate as part of my training for surfing. Sebastian is a legend! He is so knowledgable, experienced and passionate about teaching. I’ve progressed a lot in the sessions that I’ve taken, learning and practising good techniques from the beginning and feeling comfortable and increasing my confidence every time I have a lesson. I highly recommend the Surf Skate Academy for those who want to learn how to surfskate, it has been a great experience!!

Seb is an amazing trainer! He knows how to teach total beginners to gain and build their confidence on the surfskate. He is approachable, funny, and friendly. I would definitely recommend him if someone ask me about who to find to learn surfskating :D

I had a 1-to-1 training session Dec 2021, it has really helped me improve my Surfskate and has given me lots to work on. Sebastian is able to identify posture and techniques that need altering and it really made a difference. I am very glad I had this session rather than just trial and error and YouTube!

Amazing training, such a fun and excellent experience which has really helped my improvement in surf skate over only a few lessons. Can't wait for more.

Seb is a dedicated and skilled coach. His teaching style is suited to complete beginners all the way up to competent surfers who need to tweak their technique!
This is the first time the Edinburgh Uni Surf club (EUWSC) has worked with him, and he provided a top-quality and friendly service! Everyone in the club who has attended the sessions has had loads of fun and has progressed super quickly. We can't wait to keep working with Seb next semester! :))

Seb is a great guy and makes the session really enjoyable throughout.

It was my first time on a surfskate and he broke down every movement, giving me freedom to explore and work out how the mechanics worked. He gave me excellent tips to adjust my stance and get the most out of the session. Would recommend!

First session today with Sebastian and it was excellent. As a complete newcomer to surfskating I wanted an introduction that would give me confidence to get my own board and start skating regularly. Sebastian's coaching is first class and I am looking forward to more lessons. Turns out old dogs can learn new tricks... Highly Recommended.

I had been learning on my own for a couple of months but I learned so much from Sebastian in just one session (so far!). It's been a breakthrough for me where I felt stuck before, and really good to learn proper technique - he was noticing and pointing out even very subtle things that I could change, so I left feeling much more confident that I knew what to do. I am hooked on surf skating - can't wait to learn more!

Surf Skate lesson

Had my first surf skate session with Seb this week and I cannot explain how useful it was for my surfing progression. In one session he had us making turns and pumping for speed. Can't wait to get out in the water and put all that I learnt into a wave session

I’ve had a couple of brilliant lessons with Sebastian & would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that fancies learning a new skill!!
Sebastian is really good at explaining everything in detail and linking it back to improving surf technique!! With his encouragement and clear direction I found I progressed really quickly and thoroughly enjoyed every minute!! The hour absolutely flies by!! I will definitely be back for more!!
