Excellent value. Two bottles of independent bottled, cask strength whiskies for less than £80. Fantastic value for limited release whisky.

I ordered a nice bottle of rum off them.
Delivery was quick and it was well packaged so I recommended them to a couple of other people.

I checked many prices for many bottles new or old. just an example, the Speymalt Macallan 1997 #21603405, official price £435, many other website priced similar, the whisky barrel priced £1200. I mean, if you missed all the official website or other websites, at least try the auctions, you can get at least two bottles if you are willing to pay the insane £1200. Other whiskies are all more expensive than other websites, I totally disagree the positive comments saying their prices good???

First time ordering from TWB, purchased 2 bottles of the Dieago 2023 special releases and both bottles arrived within 4 days. Bottles arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and cost the same as any other retailer. Only slight negative is that other retailers offered free delivery when spending over certain amount whilst TWB didn't, I only went with TWB as they were the only site I could find selling the whisky I wanted as all others had sold out. I would highly recommend using TWB and shall continue to check out their store for any future purchases

These total clowns try to shift new bottles at incredibly inflated prices. They should close shop and go bust.

I'm very pleased with the Whisky Barrel's selection of products and prices. I'm also very happy with their carrier UPS. I received my package in only two business days and it was an international shipment! I was so surprised because the shipping charge was very reasonable. I think it was around $40.

I've ordered 3 bottles so far from TWB, within the UK. Experience for all has been:
1. Easy to order
2. Reasonably fast delivery and well-packaged
3. Great price for limited edition cask strength whisky
4. Beautiful bottle design on TWB exclusives.

Now, I haven't opened any yet, so if the contents are sub-par, I'll update my review. But, so far, everything has been first class.

Update
Now tasted 2 of the 3 whiskies. Apollo 12, absolutely delicious. Apollo 15, lovely but, for me, not quite as delicious as the Apollo 12. Both incredible value for money.

Excellent product and great delivery and have seen reviews about packaging not being great but how on earth can you expect them perfectly wrapped. Very pleased with them and they still smell of whisky

Requested 4 matching barrels. All came damaged and faulty, cut severely unevenly and unusable.
Terrible customer service (doesn’t respond, lies about refunds and replacements just to stop complaints).

No official business number, no manners. Stay clear and go somewhere else.

I did not appreciate their handling with their courier which resulted in me loosing money without any product.

I ordered for international delivery and their courier lied by saying I refused the order.. when I had been at home all day and no one had delivered.. and why would I refuse? They just hadn't bothered to attempt delivery.

Instead of taking to a depot in town, it went all the way back to the UK and they basically said I was lying.

Although not the whisky barrels fault, I feel it is their responsibility to deal with their chosen courier or just not provide international postage. I always make sure my customers are never out of pocket when the post fails them as at the end of the day, it is my responsibility to choose a provider who can deliver.

In the end, I never got my postage money back and had to rush to find another company who could actually provide me with the product in time the recipients birthday.

I will not be using again.
