Took a while for the delivery
Took a while for the delivery. One of the bottles was extremely damaged. Customer service were quick to reply but I am still waiting for a replacement having sent the bottle back over a week ago

Too good to be true?
Thought this site might be too good to be true… but I was super happy with my order. I got a great price on my champagne & it came in a few days. I did see that it’s a subscription but I unticked that box at check out & the price stayed the same. I will definitely use Wine Engine again.

Excellent customer service - eventually!
I placed my order in respect of a particular celebration (family birthday) so it was time-sensitive. When it hadn't arrive after a week, and with no word from you in the meantime, I phoned to discover there was a supply issue and that you were expecting a fresh stock imminently. This was only 48 hours before my celebration so it was touch and go. In the event the order arrived on the day itself so just in the nick of time - and only because it had been sent by fast-tracked Royal Mail. I really appreciate that this is not how you would normally have despatched the order and that you went the extra mile in my case. Excellent customer service, therefore! And the only reason I;m not giving you 5 stars is that I think you should have informed me of the initial supply issue rather than leaving it to me to have to contact you to find out what was going on with the order.

I bought a bottle of champagne as a gift for a friend but realised (after l’d ordered) that there had been nothing obvious to say what it was for and who it was from. I emailed to that effect and received an immediate response which led to the inclusion of a thank you note. I appreciated the quick response and the fix it mentality.

Hi David - we're sorry that you're disappointed with the delivery of your wine. We can see that you ordered on the 29th June and received the wine on the 6th July, and that there was a weekend in between. Delivery was made in 7 days then, which is just outside of our normal 3-5 day delivery window. And in your case the wine was temporarily out of stock, due to demand, but this only caused a 2 day delay. However we are sorry to hear that you're disappointed but would encourage you to try The Wine Engine again as it's very rare that we're outside of 3-5 days, and most of our deliveries arrive in 1-3 days to anywhere in the UK.
