I found ThingPulse on my Facebook feed and was intrigued by the weather station kit. Decided to buy it along with the case and battery, and had it built and coded in about 6 hours. Really slick project, updates the weather every 10 minutes and forcasts every 3 hours. Highly recommend!!

Ordered at the beginning of March 2026 got a tracking number right away but no updates since the middle of March. Several attempts at contacting their support have gone unanswered and no product has been delivered.

UPDATE - ThingPulse reached out to me regarding the issue and it was determined that the package was lost somewhere in the customs process. ThingPulse has issued a refund.

The ESP32 WiFi Color Display Kit Grande is a really nice product with good documentation and a smooth overall setup process.

I ran into some frustrating issues during assembly and troubleshooting, but what really impressed me was the excellent customer support from Dani at ThingPulse. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and took a lot of time to help me troubleshoot everything step by step over email.

After extended troubleshooting, Dani even sent me a replacement kit free of charge, which was incredibly generous and much appreciated. The replacement worked exactly as expected.

Great product, great instructions, and truly top-notch customer support. Highly recommended.

Charges were way out of line. Something that was $45.00 ended up costing me $100.00 Canadian.
I will never purchase from this outfit again.

ESP32 WiFi Color Display Kit Grande arrived with all parts, assembly instructions are excellent. The kit and the final assembly are well thought out. Would recommend to anyone. Bonus, I appreciate the firmware given as source so that I can study how others code such projects

The kit worked flawlessly the first time! Great introduction to soldering and IoT coding. It's very much a "paint by numbers" kit but covers the full range of the maker process. I have since extended the software to include a tide clock, so it is extendable and modifiable too!

A few parts are broken during delivery. Send an email and get an answer at some day and a new delivery without any costs.

The build was easy and made a lot of fun.

I bought the Colour Kit Grande. Initially I could only get it to work as a weather station, I wasn't able to use it with ESPHome and Home Assistant. But some excellent tech support from Daniel got me on my way.

I'm really pleased. It's easy (and fun) to put together, and works well. I'd recommend getting the case and the LiPo battery.

The ESP32 WiFi Color Display Kit Grande is an ideal learning device with practical applications. It is well designed and very easy to assemble. The website is straight forward and has good hints. The example software creating a weather station helps straighten the initial learning curve. Be sure to obtain the LiPo battery to make it portable!

Very simple kit to put together. Needed a little bit of tape behind the screen to prevent a short on the bottom of the ESP, but it sits and works really well on the desk. Took maybe an hour to put together and program.

The team was very prompt with answers to a couple of questions I had. (less then 24 hrs for every email, ) Considering the weekend, I was very surprised.

I am not a brilliant solder, this might be the 3rd kit I have ever built but, a good gateway into the hob.y Instructions are easy to follow, and well thought out.

The courier and the sender went above and beyond to deliver a package at an unfinished house where the mailbox was hidden. Especially the sender went to great lengths to help me find my packages.

Two very enthusiastic thumbs-up! It's hard to know where to begin with a product like this. So many great things to say.

I teach aviation classes and wanted a small weather station in my classroom without the need for outdoor sensors. I have a fair amount of experience soldering electronics, so I had no concerns about assembly. (Neither should you!) My experience with uploading and amending device operating systems and code, however, dates back to the early 1980s, so needless to say I might have been utterly lost.

But NO WORRIES! Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. During the PlatformIO instructions (uploading and customizing the code), I did indeed have to carry out both steps — "Upload Filesystem Image" then "Upload and Monitor" — twice each. But the instructions said clearly that could happen (if you get an error, try again). The second time I tried each step, everything worked.

What's even more exciting, however, is that I was able to customize the weather station display to suit my particular aviation-oriented use (Pressure as inches of Hg; wind directional arrows) through very simple adjustments to the code. The reason I knew what to do is because the developer Daniel is amazingly quick to respond to questions, problems, etc. via email.

Unmatched support, a great little product ... highly recommend.

I bought this kit to better understand the ESP32, the TFT screen and the touch screen. As I'm an electronics teacher, I find this product quite easy to use and the code is well explained to help me understand how it works and get started. It gives me ideas for future projects with students. I had a few problems with my memory, but Daniel was able to answer my questions and help me quickly to use the color kit grande the way I wanted.

I bought this little kit as a present for my wife. Soldering and bringing it to electronic life was no problem. But after some days it had difficulties to log into my home WLAN, but the excellent service of ThingPulse helped me to solve this- the reason was the old firmware of my router, which had a limited number of connected devices. I can absolutely recommend ThingPulse as a user friendly firm and hope, all other will take it as a good example. Especially thanks and greetings to Daniel !

i ordered the Color Kit Grande in order to get some experience with ESP32 Projects in Combination with Touch Displays. This Project is perfectly tailored for Beginners. It offers great capabilities to develope the project further on for some ones own needs. Fe Touch functionality. The Companys support is outstanding. The developers answers even simple beginners questions 7 days a week. Great Product. My best wishes for the success of ThingPulse

I purchased the ESP32 Color Kit Grande and received it in a reasonable time. I was a little rusty with soldering but was able to put the kit together and got it working. I flashed the weather station code and was a little tricky configuring it but works great with real nice display and colors. Just make sure you take your time and read all the instructions and see the soldering videos follow the steps the flash the OS and code and install all the apps. I had a question configuring the code and Daniel from tech support got back to me quickly. Nice kit and I recommend it.

Very cool and fun project! Great way to get your hands "dirty". Everything works as documented. I had a small problem because I didn't solder well, and the help and responsiveness of the ThingPulse Team was amazing. Thanks so much!

I bought this little gadget and was amazed at how easy it was to assemble. The programming was explained very clearly and it worked straight away. The technical support is excellent. A small problem was solved within half an hour by e-mail.

Nach dem Zusammenbau funktionierte das Kit nicht. Daniel antwortete sehr schnell und war eine große Hilfe. Das Kit funktioniert jetzt perfekt.
Schuld war der Firefox-Browser.
Besser ist der Google Chrome Browser
Das Flashen der Platine funktioniert einwandfrei wenn man der Anleitung folgt.
