This has to be one of the hardest working Audi R8s in the world. It has done nearly 100,000 miles, all of which have been round Thruxton Race Circuit! The seats must've been sat in by thousands of drivers - they're certainly worn in, but still in one piece and still very comfortable. Despite its miles, it has clearly been well looked after because despite its miles, it still feels tight and engaging to drive and has plenty of power from the V8 naturally aspirated engine. I had low expectations, jumping into this car, but I actually really enjoyed it! The gated manual gearbox was a new experience and we got up to over 145mph in 6th gear, going through Brooklands, whilst executing a neat 5 car overtake. Excellent stuff. The instructor was fantastic too. Gave me some really good tips.

A great session, starting in the Alpine A110 to learn the course and then into the awesome R8 for some excellent driving fun. Topped it off with a few laps in the Aston Martin for good measure. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

The Audi R8 is an amazing drive! The instructors was really helpful and supportive when driving. Would definitely recommend driving the R8.
