I DO NOT recommend purchasing the Thumber Academy course, period.

While they do technically offer everything they claim like modules that teach the basics of phone setting, access to mentors, daily Zoom calls, and a space to practice mock calls with peers—none of it is worth $8,000. The actual course content is only about four hours long, and it’s information you could easily find yourself by spending a few hours watching YouTube videos or sales influencers.

They also make it seem like they’re going to hold you accountable and guide you every step of the way, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Once you’re in, you kind of just get lost in the mix with everyone else. Even when you show up, put in effort, and stay consistent with the group calls, it feels like there’s favoritism in who actually gets attention and support.

Another big issue is how they talk about helping you land an offer after the 90 days. That didn’t happen for me. I was told I’d get more support with that process, but I didn’t receive any real help at all even after reaching out and having 1 on1 with “mentors”.

They also advertise a money-back guarantee, but they’ll look for loopholes to avoid refunding you. So I wouldn’t rely on that as a safety net.

Overall, the way they sell the program is misleading. They paint this picture that after 90 days you’ll be landing offers, making a few thousand a month, and moving toward financial freedom. In reality, getting a setting role is actually pretty difficult—most companies want prior experience, and there aren’t many part-time opportunities despite what they say. They gain all this information about your personal goals and use it against you to make you think that buying this program will solve all your problems and it won’t.

To be fair, the resources they provide can have value if you’re willing to put in the time and effort. But at the end of the day, it is absolutely not worth $8,000. If you wanna become a Phone setter or a high ticket closure, you can do it without the program I promise!!!! I believe in the industry and that so much success can come from it, but you do not need Thumber to succeed you can do it yourself or find a much cheaper program that offers the same resources

I previously submitted a review about my experience with Thumber Academy, but it was removed with the explanation that they could not confirm I was a student. For reference, I enrolled on September 16, 2025, and still have documentation confirming my enrollment.

I joined the program in September 2025 and financed the cost over a year, which I am currently still paying. During the initial sales call, a guarantee is mentioned, but the contract, which is presented quickly for signature, states that there are no refunds. This is an important detail that I believe should be communicated more clearly upfront.

For a program priced between 6000 and 8000 dollars, the main offerings are Zoom calls for mock call reviews and access to an opportunities channel where job postings are shared. In my experience, this did not align with the value I expected at that price point. I have also spoken with other students who expressed similar concerns.

I did participate in multiple offers and was able to earn some income as a phone setter. However, due to a medical condition, TMJ, I was unable to continue with the required volume of calls and had to step away. I reached out to request a refund or alternative options given my circumstances, but was informed that the contract does not allow for refunds.

After several months in the program, I was contacted regarding an additional 1500 dollar charge beyond the original agreed amount, including interest. Despite requesting clarification and documentation, such as a copy of my original agreement and call recordings, I did not receive the information I asked for and was instead warned about potential collections.

Many students in the program are young, including college students like myself. Based on my experience and conversations with others, I would encourage anyone considering a high ticket sales program to carefully evaluate the cost versus what is being provided and to explore alternative options before committing.

While it is possible to make money through high ticket sales, my experience with this program did not meet my expectations for the price, and I would not personally choose to enroll again.

If you want a Community dedicated to becoming a better man, live mentoring, resources, training, accountability, and a brighter future, Thumber is for you.

Thumber Academy has been a great opportunity and well put together program thus far. I joined the community in October of 2025 and couldn’t be more thankful of everyone around me and the opportunities that have came with it. Since the initial onboarding call with Austin until now, everyone has been more than helpful in supporting me and helping me improve my skills day by day. I even landed my first offer after graduating college last month, which is super quick considering it was a part time thing up until now. I Cannot wait for the year to play out and keep striving towards my goals. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence, go for it - you’ll do great. Hope to see you on the inside!

This is a great mentorship, they have helped many people I know as well as myself get started with high ticket sales and they actually care about there students.

I’ve had a lot of experience with this company and prefer to not use my main account for confidentiality purposes, but they are total scammers and manipulators. All their 5 star reviews are clearly bots and ik they are going to reply saying I’m fake, or a competitor, but I just don’t want anyone else to fall victim to “thumber academy”.

Scams people 8,000 by providing no information and doesn’t have a turn around rate

Recently joined thumberacademy as of 4ish months ago just last month I hit an all-time high for commission and without them I genuinely would have been stuck in the college lifestyle (which would have sucked lol)

Writing a follow-up review on Thumber which I never write reviews anywhere but if it was not for them I would have had been in a completely different spot.

Thumber taught me a ton! I loved learning and it really set me up for success and helped me fall in love with sales!

Thumber academy was a great investment. The network i’ve built, connections i’ve made and the skill i’ve expanded on has all been worth it. It really is as good as advertised !

thumber academy has been a great experience. i joined in feb, and only 1-2 months into the program i was able to leave my car sales job and turn this into a full time career. the coaches have invested 10’s of thousands into themselves as well so you’re learning from some of the best

I joined Thumber Academy early last year as one of its first students and immediately knew I made the right choice after getting trained and put into an offer almost immediately. In the now year and half I’ve been in the program it has 10x in size and quality of the teachings. They have REAL students and coaches in the program making life changing money helping you along the way and taking the time to answer any and all questions on a weekly basis. Couldnt recommend this program any more. Well worth it!

I joined Thumber as a 17yr old with no sales experience at all. Russell and Orson guided me through learning everything I ever needed to know and more. I’m now selling B2B software solutions to major enterprises due to the skills Russell and Orson taught me. This is an amazing opportunity for people that understand the work that it takes to succeed. This is NOT a get rich quick scheme. But if you put in the hours and you apply yourself day in and day out. You can shape your future to be whatever you want. If it weren’t for Russell and Orson I would be in a college campus and not selling to major Enterprises today

Thumber Academy has an awesome. I invested financially with them because I felt they could teach me the skills and provide the network necessary to get into High Ticket Sales. And exactly that happened, I’be made my investment back many many times over.

Thumber Academy has been great, the coaches are always trying to help and push you to reach your goals, as long as the community helping each other achieve the same goal

Thumber Academy is truly a one of a kind experience. I stumbled across them in High School and it allowed me to make up to 20k a month as a Senior working 4-5 hours per day remotely. Obviously its not a get rich quick scheme and takes a lot of time to get to this point. Looking back putting in the work is always worth it, especially with a big reward like that.
