Worth your peace of mind
My husband had a medical emergency in our trip to Italy and had to stay in a hospital overnight. We paid upfront and when we got home we submitted all requested documents to Tin Leg. We received reimbursement for all expenses in about two weeks' time. The premium was very affordable, $49 for two people for ten days. I cannot recommend enough!

The Tin Leg site provided several Tin Leg policies to choose from, as well as policies from other companies. I have used Tin Leg in the past. When I filed a claim, it was (eventually) paid. As with all insurance, proof of loss is required, so keep copies of all receipts and trip details.

legitimate claim stonewalling
Since 12/25 I have been dealing with this underhanded and fraudlent scam company trying to get reimbursement for the cost of a trip for two travelers. I wrote a review in March 2026 and still the compnay is stonewalling me with requests upon requests for documentation that they already have or are not relevant to my claim . DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY. They will not honor legitimate claims. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.
