Avoid avoid avoid
I would not use this company again. I have had numerous work done to multiple houses I have owned over the years. I have never encountered a company that expects a customer to help unload a delivery especially with it being a solid wooden staircase. There were issues with the delivery which delayed the trades people that were already booked in at my house. The delivery date given, was for part of the order and this wasn’t mentioned until the delivery person informed me with a rude arrogant attitude. At no point prior to delivery was I told that my order would be partly delivered. I did get an apology email which astonished me when I learned they were aware the night before delivery that items were not going to be delivered the following day. At no point was I informed the night before, or the following morning and when the delivery man phoned me to give me an ETA he could have informed me then but didn’t. I suppose in hindsight, once this company has your money they don’t seem to care. I will never use them again for future projects or will I recommend.

Hi Liz.
The document you signed off clearly states:
"Delivery is a one-man kerbside delivery: please make sure you have enough people available to accept delivery."
This is normal, as the additional cost of using a two man delivery would be incredibly expensive and the vast majority of customers are not wanting to pay this.
We did warn you of this though in the document you signed off and various emails sent to you.
The handrails were sent the day after the staircase due to a technical problem and we informed your builder.
We don't feel this review is warranted given.
- we informed you it was a one man delivery.
- only the handrails were sent out the day after due to a technical issue, this isn't the norm. However, it happens and they were delivered a day later.
Excellent online designer tool

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. The quality of their work is highly unprofessional. They recently did my stairs, leaving behind numerous cracks and visible damage on the steps. When I raised these concerns, their dismissive response was that the damage is "on the back" and "doesn't affect" anything. Every crack matters when you pay for quality, and it feels like they are just trying to dodge accountability. Furthermore, the final product looks nothing like the design and color advertised on their website. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

With regards to your review, this staircase was delivered flat-packed; sometimes things can get damaged. However, we have reached out to you and offered to replace the parts you’re not happy with, which you refused.
Timber is a natural product (it comes from a tree)… and there can be slight colour variants.
The issues you refer to are on the underside of the stairs (you ordered a standard construction staircase) - not exposed back and would not be seen once you assemble them.
Again, if you'd like us to replace the parts you’re not happy with, we’re happy to do so.
Good design tool - good stairs
Really good design tool - one of the best I found on line. Quality of the stairs was also very good with no issues on build quality and spec.
One slight frustration was the limited ability to agree on an AM/PM delivery window - difficult when needing to arrange builder resource to offload and install. Otherwise though a very positive experience.
