Very nice quality
Very nice quality. Everything fitted as ordered. Could have been packaged a bit better, a few dents and marks being pine, very soft. No instructions, not sure about where some parts went

Issue upon issue
I purchased a staircase from TKstairs to install for a customer local to me. I surveyed the site and modified the quotation he had started to ensure everything was correct before ordering. Then once I'd ordered, the customer told me he had been rang by TKStairs saying a staircase had been ordered from his reference which was different to the one I had and even though I had spoken to TKstairs on the phone and explained I was purchasing and installing the stairs as a tradesperson for the customer. The fact the customer was called and not the person who paid for the stairs could cause major issues if the cost of materials is a figure that needed to remain private. luckily it didnt massively affect me but it did put the customer on edge.
We then received a delivery slot for 3:00 which worked as our staff leave just before 4 except the stairs arrived just before 5 instead.
The main issue was that the single pane of glass I had explicitly specify over the phone beforehand was delivered instead in 2 pieces with a gap. The customer was not happy about this so I asked TKStairs if we could have a partial refund as a key visual aspect of the staircase had been incorrectly manufactured and the 2 days install had already been. The refund the offered me was a whopping £80 inc VAT or a replacement piece of glass plus no fitting costs. On a £2k staircase the refund offered is insulting for a mistake that I explicitly tried to stop them from making. My options now are to tell the customer to put up with having the incorrect staircase and give him £80 or fork out for the installation of the replacement glass which would be completely uneconominal and unnecessary when it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Every step of the way the staff have been awkward and unprofessional to deal with. In future I'll be ordering from stair box or similar instead. Avoid
