Unfortunately this dress was "final sale," and the garment was expensive even with FINAL sale, $151. Tuckernut clothing has increased in cost in the past two years. I tried to return it, but no luck. It's not returnable. I'd advise others not to take a chance on ANY sale items unless you are VERY sure of the item you are getting and you KNOW that it fits you. The Final Sale Policy ends up being costly if you think something looks good on-line. This is the second time this has happened to me; the first time, was not a Final Sale so I could return it. Stuck this time. My lesson learned! The fabric felt cheap, the cut unflattering; the size advice way off in "find my size"

The description of the dress includes “Material: Cotton Poplin” but it is 100% polyester. I never would have purchased if the description was not so misleading. It’s a shame bc it’s a beautiful dress, beautiful fit. Horrific fabric.

Disappointed in Tuckernuck. For the price point you will not get a lining or pockets. Very sheer as well 😢

Quick shipping. Good quality. Just what I was looking for.

I ordered several items from Tuckernuck recently (I am a return customer). I elected to return two of the items, totalling $346 before tax. They lost track of my return in transit. I reached out several times and over the course of two plus weeks, I continued to chat with a ROBOT via email. I finally decided to dispute it with my credit card company and TA-DA! they found my items and credited me $342. I am still waiting to hear back since that is less than the items and does not include tax. I am owed nearly $375 back. Really disappointing.

I am amazed that you send high priced, nice clothes jammed in a plastic shipping bag. I expected expensive dresses to come in boxes like from Nordstrom or Dillards.

The hat and ribbon is good quality. It would be helpful if you had enclosed what is the best way to pack the hat for airplane travel. The delivery was prompt. You delivered when expected.

The dress is nice but very tight on the chest. Unfortunately I will need to return it because the size seems be too small.

I love the dress!!! It even looked better than I expected!
I didn’t give it 5 stars because it wasn’t wrapped in tissue so there were many deep creases after I unpacked the dress and it took a long time to press them out.

This dress is dreamy! The quality of the velvet is a nice heavy weight. The sizing is accurate. I’m sorry I bought it off season and have to wait months before wearing it! It will be perfect tights and any kind of boot or bootie. It also dispatched quickly and arrived in just a few days.

I love this dress and I hate this dress. First I tried a medium, because even if I'm carrying 10 extra pounds after baby #2, it's got smocking right? Wrong. The zipper where it changed from a gathered skirt to the smock is a problem, it won't budge. Fine, I'm borderline in sizes so I return it, order the large. It also won't zip (even with my husband trying). But to me, this seems all wrong because it feels like I can overlap the fabric still, even though the zipper is totally stuck. Eventually, I turned it backwards and zipped it by myself, and then turned it around a slipped in. Once it's on, the dress is beautiful, my husband loves it, and I love it too. But I'm a 36E and the smocking is a touch loose still, although the gather to smock waistline is still a little snug. It also has a seam in the lining that goes across the bust, I'm not sure why we had to do that when there's no seam on the outside. I'm hoping I lose just a little weight from my bust and it's not so noticable to me. But it's truly gorgeous, enough to keep.

The dress looks great, but the first time I washed it, the black pockets bled onto the white dress. Super sad as this is the first negative experience I’ve had with a Tuckernuck product!

Dress too tight around bust.
Always order a medium, so surprised this doesn’t fit as usual.
I need to return for a large size.

I really wanted this to be a cool dress and tho it has potential I should have minded other reviews. The leather portion is like a potato sack. I have hips w a smaller waist so this feels baggy around the middle. But I’m hoping I can get it altered to work for my body shape. The rest is good. Fingers crossed. (I’m 56, 5’5”, 130# size small.

I kept getting served an ad on Instagram for this dress and it’s in a style I usually wear for work so I went for it - immediate return. The fabric is so stiff (and I have other belted midi shirt dresses from Anthropologie - this is hurt your hands getting the buttons undone stiff) and the fabric is heavy yet has this cheap looking sheen and sound to it. The arms made the whole thing look like the Jetsons (and again I have sleeves like this that work, it’s the fabric that ruins it). For such an expensive dress, would look elsewhere.

I am so impressed with consistent Tuckernut quality that, even though I wasn’t sure I actually needed a green sweater, it looked so beautiful on the website, I figured I’d try to find a way to fit it into my wardrobe. Well, let me tell you: she is here to stay! This gorgeous (color, fit (XS 5’3 110lb), thick, and sturdy) Buy It For Life sweater fits my wardrobe like a fresh breath of air! She instantly has pride of place in all her green glory! If there are more colors in my size, her family will continue to grow! 💚 Shipping time was reasonable and packaging as usual in the happy Tuckernut mailer.

The service was excellent and the dress itself is very pretty. The top portion fit perfectly, but the skirt had far too much fabric. From the waist down it was extremely wide and added a lot of unnecessary volume, making me look much larger than I am. For reference, I’m a size M, 145 lbs, and 5'6". Unfortunately, it was a final sale, so I wasn’t able to return it.
