my friend sometimes use it and 2 of 3 times nothing received , or wrong product and totally no refund , all are scammers , the only way to get something from there option for paid at delivery

1. Uang yg tersimpan di saldo Tokopedia dari pengembalian dana, tidak serta merta bisa ditarik pembeli, padahal rekening Bank yg digunakan untuk pengembalian, identik dgn data pembeli.

2. Utk pengembalian dana, Tokped mewajibkan verifikasi wajah dgn aplikasi TikTok (pihak diluar Tokopedia). Sehingga rawan kebocoran data pribadi & digunakan utk hal2 lain. Hal ini membahayakan data pribadi WNI digunakan oleh negara lain

3. Gunakanlah sarana belanja yang aman dan melindungi data customer. Jujur saja, cara Tokped sangat tidak aman dengan membagikan data pribadi ke pihak ketiga

Tokopedia dan tokopedia care terburuk dalam pengalaman saya selama ini dengan e-commerce.
Satu seller dengan nama AestheticHome, diduga sengaja melakukan penipuan dengan mengirim barang tidak sesuai order. Dan dari history reviews toko tersebut, bisa dilihat perilsku toko inj terjadi berulang kali. Dengan alasan sudah lebih dari 6 hari tokopedia bersikukuh tidak bisa berbuat apa2 walau sudah dikirim bukti chat toko mengakui salah tp tetap tidak mau melakukan refund. Uang saya Rp 1.4+ juta yg harusnya dikirim coffee table tp dikirim gelas murahan yg mungkin harganya hanya 100an ribu.
Tokopedia dan Tim Tokopedia care is a useless team.

Jangan pake Tokopedia dan afiliasinya, termasuk gojek, mereka banyak scam dan melakukan hack akun, saya di hack lewat Tokopedia dan mencairkan gopay later 5jt dan Gopay pinjam 12 JT, barusan mencairkan 100rb buat pulsa dari saldo Tokopedia.
Sudah komplain tetep harus di bayar katanya kelalaian pribadi. Padahal tidak pernah memberikan akun ada apapun yg berkaitan dgn data pribadi. Sepertinya ada Ordal yg bermain. SUNGGUH TOKOPEDIA DAN GOJEK BERBAHAYA

Entah ide siapa yang merubah Tokopedia menjadi seperti sekarang, Jujur saya sudah tidak pernah belanja belanja lagi di sini, karena tidak User Friendly lagi baik sebagai seller maupun Buyer.

I was scammed for an air conditioner order by a seller, and they will not refund. They make it nearly impossible to use customer service, and I tried countless times to reinstate my blocked account. They keep asking for more and more info, the same transaction copies from Tokopedia 3 times, passport ID, phone verification, alternate email... still will not reinstate. It's the second time I have experienced a scam seller on Tokopedia, and they do nothing to help. No refunds, nothing happens to the seller. I have used tokopedia for many years, and was a very good customer, using it for most things. I have given up, and just want to warn others from using it. I have heard that Shopee is better. I will try. I have never posted a trustpilot review, but they are very motivating with their shockingly bad customer service and treatment of good customers.

I ordered 10 boxes of kuaci melon, and the seller sent an empty box, I got the money back for 9 boxes, but the seller still succeeded in stealing the money value of 1 box. Thieves that send empty boxes via Tokopedia can have their way.

Absolutely shocking service, this is so bad its got me to write my first ever review. My fault for keeping on trying but the amount of cancellations is super high and they keep your money for 14 days after an order is not processed. After checking the amount of stock available and a decent supplier there is still a high rate of cancellations for all kinds of reasons. Not good.

Update: they are an amazing service This is like the Amazon of Indonesia, every product, always fast delivery and good support, one time I had an issue with address they were helpful!

I paid for an order with one supplier with no response and the order became cancelled. Money transferred to my Saldo account. Paid for similar order with a different supplier who packaged promptly and two days later it had arrived in Bali. 13 days later and still no delivery. Then a message blaming the delay on Ramandan with a suggested deliver date in another 4 days. Can't say I am optimistic. I have tried several times unsuccessfuly to return balance in my Saldo account to my bank account. It used to be that Tokopedia was very effective.

I ordered a product on Tokopedia. The seller sent a completely different item — this fact was never disputed by any party. I filed a complaint, submitted unboxing video evidence, and returned the item via Indopaket (Indomaret drop-off).

The seller then claimed the returned package contained “plain water” — with zero objective evidence: no packaging video, no independent inspection, no chain of custody documentation.

Tokopedia’s own arbitration team asked both parties to submit packaging videos. The seller never provided theirs. I was unable to provide a return-packaging video. Tokopedia closed the case in the seller’s favor — despite the seller failing the same evidentiary standard applied to me.

The result: the seller has the returned product and retained the payment. I have neither a refund nor a correct product.

Over the following 26+ days, I submitted three formal legal questions to Tokopedia. None were answered — only repeated template responses stating “investigation is ongoing.”

Formal complaints have been filed with BPKN, Kemendag (via SP4N-LAPOR!), and YLKI.

Update 20 March 2026: Tokopedia confirmed the decision is final. No legal questions answered. Buyer advised to contact the seller directly — the same seller who received both the returned product and the payment.

Most horrible and disgusting online service. They cancelled ny purchased 3 days later without any reason! What a service!!!

I bought a padel racket and it was supposed to arrive within 5-6 days. But after 5 days the seller messaged me saying they are not able to fulfill my order and canceled my order. I had already paid the full amount to Tokopedia. Now that same amount was sitting in my Tokopedia account and after I withdrew it back to my account Tokopedia charged me a withdrawal fee. I just wanted my moneny back but now my order was canceled and I lost money.

Penagihan paylaternya tidak sopan dan ada unsur ancaman2 penyebaran nama baik, seperti berikut :
"Sore ini saya langsung ke lokasi anda koordinasi RT/RW atau ke tempat kerja jika masih belum dibayar tagihan paylaternya.
Bayar online SEKARANG agar data tidak perlu diproses ke lokasi anda."

padahal masih telat 2 hari, dan telat pun juga bayar denda.

Beware shopping on tokopedia platform. Especially beware when the chosen courier is J&T (auto choice when you’re on Plus free delivery package). If you must shop, shop low value items for when you have problem with either the items you purchased, the seller or the courier stealing your items you will NOT get your money back. Tokopedia will NOT resolve your problem, you will get robot messages until you get tired and give up (that’s the strategy). When your problem involves J&T courier rest assured you will lose money. Tokopedia and J&T have common shareholders so it’s left and right pocket for them. I have since migrated to Shopee for all my purchases. Not that much better platform but am happy knowing no more business for Tokopedia.

Scammed from studio laptop shop and still waiting refund. Was told the shop had stock of an item and to purchase. Then was after i purchased was told no stock. Took a very long time to work out what to do and still no refund.

This is now the 3rd issue I've had using this platform.

Don't bother!!!

Since integrated wuth tiktok i lost my income and they take profit too high not like other e-comerce
Really bad luck
And next plan to close my store

Worst experience of ordering and receiving a completely different item. Cheated by seller. Tokopedia has no easy way to help customer get back the money
