An Absolute 5-Star Experience with TomKings Kennels
We had been following TomKings Kennels on Instagram for years, and when the time finally came for us to get a puppy, we knew exactly who to contact. Even though they are located in Hungary and we are in the US, we felt secure, supported, and completely informed through the entire process—their communication was truly outstanding!
From our very first inquiry, Tony was incredible. He responded with detailed information about the process and carefully helped us figure out which puppies would best fit our lifestyle. Once we chose our girl, Tony arranged for videos and FaceTime calls so we could see her during playtime and eventually during her training sessions.
Because we live in the US, we had to wait until she was 6 months old for her to be shipped to the states. While waiting for those final 3 weeks felt like the longest weeks of my life, it was actually a blessing. It gave the TomKings team extra time to socialize her and work heavily on her training.
We were slightly nervous about the shipping process, but we shouldn't have been. Adri was outstanding with making all the arrangements and Jocasta (Daisy) arrived healthy, safe, and extremely happy.
She is now home with us and is absolutely perfect. She is beautifully socialized, curious & adventurous, affectionate, well-behaved, and we couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family. If (and when) we decide to get our second French Bulldog, we will 100% return to TomKings Kennels. We cannot recommend them enough!

I have adopted 3 Frenchies with Tom Kings and could not be happier. I got my girls last year from one of their US breeders, and just this week got my little boy from Budapest. Based on my experience buying from them, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Years ago, it seemed like they truly cared about their dogs and their customers, but nowadays, everything is terrible. This was my third dog from them—Logan. His DNA results and vet checks were fine according to the paperwork, but when he arrived at six months old, he weighed only 14 lbs; he was nothing but skin and bones, and it was heartbreaking to see him like that. He arrived with an eye infection and respiratory issues requiring throat surgery, plus two bald spots on his body—apparently from another dog's bite—and a scratch on his nose. A month later, he had a red eye and skin issues that turned out to be allergies. We spoke to them hoping for a solution or at least a refund—anything, really, since their dogs clearly aren't healthy—but the only response was, "I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations." No solution whatsoever. The second dog I bought was raised with love; although I went through them, the actual breeder was in the U.S. and raised the dog with care. Thank God that one arrived in good shape—he wasn't exactly as Tony described, but he was full of love. My first dog from them died at age eight from kidney problems. In my experience, the dogs aren't healthy, and I don't recommend them. Don't rely on photos and videos; there’s a lot of editing these days, plus the camera always adds a little bulk.

We have been in direct communication with you regarding the concerns about Logan, and we have taken the time to look into the circumstances surrounding his arrival and the issues you shared with us. We also sincerely apologized for the small injuries that were not noticed and communicated before his departure, as transparency with our families is extremely important to us.
Logan underwent the required veterinary examinations before traveling, and at that time we had not received any indication that he would require respiratory surgery. When you later shared this concern with us, we asked to remain updated regarding the specialist evaluation so that we could better understand the situation and provide further guidance if needed.
We fully understand how upsetting it can be when unexpected health concerns arise. The health and wellbeing of our puppies is extremely important to us, and we put a great deal of care into our health protocols and veterinary screenings. At the same time, when working with living animals, unfortunately not every health issue can be predicted or prevented. This is why we continuously review and improve our health protocols, and we genuinely use feedback, including yours, to identify where our processes can be improved.
We are truly sorry that despite our conversations, you were left feeling disappointed with your recent experience. Please know that our support does not end here. We remain available to help with Logan and to provide further guidance whenever needed.

We used TomKings to get our sweet boy Benny back in 2024. He's currently 2 and all we can say is that we are so glad we trusted this company. I'll admit we were skeptical to begin with but are so glad we went through with this. Benny is the best dog. You can tell the difference between the dogs from this kennel and other Frenchies. He is heavily complimented in public and his demeanor is even better at home.

I recently worked with TKK in the adoption of my new baby boy Rupert. The process was very easy and straight forward. The attentiveness of the staff and their ability to answer my questions along the way definitely made me feel comfortable with my decision! We had such an amazing experience with TomKings!
Before getting Hazel, we were honestly really nervous about being scammed or ending up with a puppy who wasn’t healthy. After doing a lot of research, we found TomKings, and they completely put our minds at ease.
From the very beginning, Toby, our adoption specialist, and the entire team were incredibly helpful and supportive. They kept us updated every step of the way with emails, photos, videos, and follow-ups, which made the whole process feel transparent and trustworthy. One thing that really stood out was the health support and online veterinary assistance they provide—it gave us so much confidence as first-time Frenchie parents.

Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Great communication and well cared for puppies(confirmed by my local vet) When we saw Gomez we immediately knew he belonged here in Ireland with our family and Tom Kings made that happen as smoothly as possible. Gomez over all health is great and mannerisms even better. We have small children and other dogs in the house and he fit right in with the family. I highly recommend Tom Kings.
