Great communication first thing. Was told I’d get a phone call to notify me that an engineer would be with me within an hour. Received a phone call at 12.30pm to say an engineer would be on his way. By 2.40pm, I messaged because he hadn’t turned up. Was told he had to go back to the job he had just completed (didn’t fill me with much confidence!). Received another phone call at 3.40pm to say another engineer would be with me within the hour. At just gone 5pm, I tried to chase this up as nobody had arrived. No response. I messaged again at 5.30pm to say it was getting too late for him to come now (I have two young children). No response, no apology, no explanation. Very unprofessional. Avoid!

Very helpful and clear explanation of door workings

Lovely guy who turned up who was courteous and attentive however when the quote came through it was what I consider an enormous price to repair close on to a brand new door - big company business prices - the I asked for another quote of a lesser style of repair - surprise no response. Profit above all!

My electric Garage Door needed a lot of help to get it working properly again. Quite an expensive job because it needed lots of new parts. An Engineer called Ricky came and quite quickly explained to me what was needed to make it like new again. I had a quote from their headquarters to which I agreed and Ricky set about doing the necessary work. May I say he was very personable and understanding. He completed the job and everything is working as it should, as it was only done today I can only say that I feel confident that it is well and truly fixed. Thank you.

Booked for between 3pm and 6pm, only to receive an automated message at 4pm saying nobody was available and we’d been rescheduled for tomorrow.
Leaving customers waiting around all day before cancelling is simply unacceptable, especially when it means leaving our garage insecure overnight.
Cancelled and booked someone else. A complete waste of time and absolutely no consideration for the customer.

What a well-organised and run operation! Within less than 24hrs of contacting them about a repair to my up-and-over garage door it was fixed - no fuss. An on-the-spot estimate from Kevin, the trchnician, and then payment once fixed. Brilliant! Could not have asked for better. Strongly recommended.0

Phoned Tuesday, appointment next day, great communication re pricing and timings. Pete was very helpful, friendly and fixed the problem, he was able to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend.

Needed a fix to my garage door - called at 8.10- all done and dusted by 11.30. Very reasonable price. Work carried out by courteous, tidy and knowledgeable technician. Definitely recommend these guys

Broken wire failed and I contacted Toms Garage Doors and they responded well, fully repairing the door mechanisms the following day.
The job cost more than I thought but that’s VAT for you.

Mega expensive but do a good job. To sum up £208 for about 10 minutes to do the job, no parts required and with 10% pensioners discount. Another 2 minutes to assess the job, 5 minutes to ring office for the quote. If you don't mind paying they are quick and efficient.

Very expensive for an hours labour and less than £50 worth of parts. Kept cancelling appointments. Door still doesn’t open properly as it now catches the roof trusses, but apparently that’s not their job to sort even though I never had this issue before.

As other reviews have stated, expensive. Can't fault the guy who did the work, Alexander I think. He was very polite and professional, but had to ring to get a price from the boss or whoever. Initial price £199, for correcting spring tension. Then came down £40 but still more than probably should have been for 10xto 20 minutes work. Shame really, but the lad that did the repair was great. Also guaranteed repair for one year so that's great.

Technician Rob arrived promptly to make a diagnostic & advice check on our budget up & over door. After carrying out a thorough inspection he explained how the problem lay with the construction of our garage. Much better to receive this from an honest & experienced professional. Easy to book the attendance of a technician. Dave arrived, explained the process, did a quick look over the faulty door. Work carried out in quick time, no new parts required as originals in good working order. Great to chat with Dave as he worked, especially as we had good work ethic in common.
Agreed the price over the phone but disappointed that I was not able to use either KLARNA or CLEARPAY for the payment.
All in all a good service, response time was picked by myself and kept to by them. The price of almost £200 was a little bit steep, I suppose you have to pay for quality workmanship today.
