Top Coat Painting Avis

A very good experience and paint job .
Attention to detail amazing .
Thanks Top Coat

I originally thought I had a small amount of painting to be done in my newly purchased home. However, on closer inspection with Paul Stein, I realized the entire home had to be completely overhauled as it was in dismal shape from years of happy family living and renovating by the previous owners. With Paul's experience, I had no hesitation taking on the scope of the job - he knew all the little details that needed to be looked after and I knew I was in good hands. The prep work he did and the painting that all the painters did was exceptional and the house now shines and feels brand new. I highly recommend the expertise of Paul and David and Cam, the primary painters. They were lovely to have around and always happily accommodated anything I brought up that needed to be addressed. It was a pleasure to work with everyone I met and I'm very grateful.

I recently had my very weathered house painted by Top Coat. I'm very pleased with the job...it looks almost new. I found the team very professional and appreciated their attention to detail and the many suggestions they had to solve small issues for a better outcome. Good teamwork and communication. Keeping Top Coat "Top" for sure.

Such a nice crew of guys along with the owner Paul. They educated us on the process and product, were meticulous with the prep, and stuck to the timeline and quote. The end result looks great! Would totally recommend Top Coat.

Top Coat painting did an amazing job on our stucco house. Paul gave clear communication at each step of the project. Our aging house provided some challenges and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result! Thank you Cesar and Rodrigo for your hard work.

Top Coat Painting is a very reliable company. The painters were friendly, cooperative, hard working and very helpful. They checked with the house owner often to ensure the owner was satisfied with the results of the paintings.

Top Coat is professional, promo service. Excellent quality work and start and finished right on time

Top Coat did an excellent job at our townhouse complex. They painted the brown trim which was quite extensive. They also touched up the white stucco, painted our 16 shed doors and frames and also painted new lines in our parking lot. The workers were very efficient and polite and checked with me if they had any questions. The price for all this work was very reasonable compared to some other companies that we have had quotes from. When finished, we did a walk around with the project coordinator, Paul, who is great to work with. I highly recommend this company!!

The Top Coat painting team Tao and Da were professional and tidy and completed high quality work.
We had a challenge of ensuring a quiet workplace as a family member works the night shift and sleeps in the day. The painters were respectful of this and communicated and worked quietly.
We first met the company when they painted our family members home and will use their services again. We have already recommended them to a neighbor who asked.

The team always arrived on time and stayed on task all day. They displayed a strong work ethic. The job was well supervised and if workmanship didn't meet company standards it was redone. Any issues brought to the attention of the strata council were dealt with quickly. Owners expressed appreciation with the way drop cloths were used. Anything needing to be moved was replaced and detached hoses were reattached. This is a company our strata would be more than happy to hire for any future painting projects. Communication was top notch.

Quality work by the crew.
Useful and practical recommendations in the first place.
Courteous workers and managers and owner.
Quote was fair and honored by the contractor

From my initial discussions with Paul obtaining a quote, his follow-up and the painting crew doing an excellent job, I would and have recommended Top Coat to others.

I have used Top Coat for many years. They have painted both inside and outside our house. They have also done touchups when needed. They are very obliging and efficient. They are careful in what they do, and it always looks wonderful afterwards.

Top Coat Painting has just finished an interior project for our strata building. It was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to the residents. The crew was thoughtful, professional and accommodating.

Top Coat Painting has been the strata's painter of choice for about 5 years. Previous projects include the exterior of the building and the ground floor patios. The full painting of the building exterior was a complex project involving access to all units. It was coordinated thoughtfully with great consideration for the residents, and the finished work was well done.

We would not hesitate to recommend Top Coat Painting for your painting needs large or small.

Detailed scope provided with estimate; painters skilled and aimed to please client; detail oriented;clean and tidy worksite at end of each day.

So glad we chose to use Top Coat Painting, their team did an amazing job! Will definately hire them again.

Paul’s crew was excellent from start to finish. The prep work prior to painting was very thorough. Cesar and Angelex were hard working, quiet, and courteous. At the end of the day they tidied up and all equipment was safely stored. I most certainly will use Top Coat Painting again and recommend them.

Paul and his crew at Top Coat Painting did a wonderful job painting our condo and left everything spic and span when they finished up. Their price was very reasonable and allowed for the use of top quality paint.

We should also mention that Carla Hedman, manager of the Oak Bay Benjamin Moore store, helped guide us in the selection of the colour combinations which were just right for us.

We highly recommend Top Coat Painting and Carla Hedman for those looking for a fresh and appealing look in their home.
