TrackR lässt sich mit der App nicht …

TrackR lässt sich mit der App nicht verbinden, Gerät blinkt und die App sucht, findet aber nichts. Bluetooth, GPS und WLAN eingeschaltet und per BT gekoppelt. Habe in meinem Leben als Systeminformatiker schon viel Mist gesehen, aber dies ist die Krönung.

Hopeless battery life

The claim that the batteries will last a year is totally false. Even after checking and double checking features that should conserve battery life I have failed repeatedly to get more than 2 months from the battery and the chances are, certainly in my case, that they’ve failed just when you need to use the device.
This is a major failing in the device, and the claim of a one year life should not be used in any advertising and should be replaced by a more honest claim.

Ubrugeligt

Ubrugeligt, du skal være inden for 3-4 M for at kunne se den. Forstår ikke helt hvad dette produkt er lavet til. Var desværre så naiv at tro det var en GPS tracker, så man kunne se den overalt.

I can’t believe they are still conning people with this gadget, how can they still be allowed to advertise in fb
I purchased 3, absolutely useless, contacted them a year ago, nothing
Should not be allowed

I purchased 10 of these not only are …

I purchased 10 of these not only are they garbage. I only received 8 despite 10 being paid for and declared on the HM customs documents so paid tax for all the 10 before I received the 8 TrackR’s. I Contacted Trackr who sent the missing items, great but for one thing I had to pay *£11.64 handling & custom charge to receive the missing 2. I put TrackR’s on my dogs only to fined that as soon as the dogs were out of sight the Trackr loses Bluetooth connection so can’t locate the dogs . As for the engraving this useless as they engraved them incorrectly and to top it all the battery’s were half empty.
*The £11.64 I incurred because Trackr dispatch department could not count , Tracker offered to pay pay only 50% of the import tax their carriers Post office charged a tax handling Fee of £8

Misleaading advertisement

So this is bluetooth only. Crowd gps has nothing to do with gps technology and relies on everybody walking around running the app and bluetooth on all the time. Cannot locate anything moving since it only updates the last seen position where the item was in a bluetooth range from a device with trackr app. Therefore pictures in the package are misleading. you see a device attached to a dog or a bike. The only use I can come up is a situation where you have misplaced an item in your house and want to ring it. Useless in locating a stolen bike or a runaway pet.

Not to mention there are defects. Of my first two trackers, the other didn't respond to anything. Of the next two (replacements) the other rings randomly. I've set a wifi safe zone but leaving the house the device still sometimes rings. Also let's say I'm leaving behind my keys with a trackr. Shouldn't my phone ring rather than the lost keys so I'd notice the situation?

Trackr Product and Company Very Disappointing, Falling Well Short of Expectation

Previously I owned a competitor's device and was disappointed when the battery stopped in 14, requiring a repurchase of the device. It appeared the Trackr "bravo" was a good alternative so I purchased 5 in June 2017. I have discovered a multitude of problems with the device and the company. The button operation on the device was erratic because sometimes it rang your phone and sometimes it did not. The Trackr phone separation alert was inconsistent and did not performed majority of time. Trackr iPhone & iPad apps have more focus on sales than assistance for using device. Device operation information contained on the site is inadequate for the average user. Within two months of activating my first Trackr device it stopped working. Since the website provides no assistance I called customer support and their representative said it appeared the battery had stopped working. She said I could go have it checked and I might be able to make a warranty claim for the battery. This has been a $100 lesson to make sure I check customer reviews and understand problems with the product before purchasing.

Perfekt service, og den virker bare.

Vi havde stor ballade med PostNord som ville have told, moms og et gebyr på 160 kroner.

Normalt kommer varer direkte med DHL når de er bestilt til det, men DHL havde givet den tip postNOrd fordi det kun var en kuvert.

Jeg skrev om det til Trackr, som omgående betalte gebyret med smil.

I øvrigt er den super nem at sætte op og den virker perfekt.

Pure garbage.

I bought 5 although I wanted to buy 10+ and I’m so glad I didn’t. The advertising was perfectly executed but it never mentioned the fact that it only works with Bluetooth which means that once out of range the magic disappears. The design relies on EVERYONE having this gadget and EVERYONE having Bluetooth on 24/7 so you can keep track of your devices at any point in time. This is simply not feasible. I’m terribly disappointed. What a waste of money that has been.
So many “wonderful things” being sold on social media these days but in reality is pure garbage.
Ever since TRACKR I promised myself NEVER EVER to buy from social media again!

Min hund har den i halsbåndet

Min hund har den i halsbåndet. Hvis hunden er mere end 10 meter fra mig, står der 'Connecting' i displayet i app'en. Den angiver KUN connected, når jeg selv kan se hunden.

Do not trust your items with this useless item.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I bought 12 a year ago. After initial successful pairing, I could not locate items. Kept re pairing.
Contacted company & was initially told service would improve when more users allowed tracking.
Then after 4 weeks could not re pair as batteries flat - these are not cheap. Having changed batteries (cost a fortune) several times, I recontacted the company who sent me a set of new batteries.

No improvement. Company then said my products were faulty & would send new ones. Several weeks later I received a note from Royal Mail wanting £40 odd in unpaid customs. I contacted the company who said customs charges were my responsibility.
In the email ‘discussion’ that followed, they told me they posted them listed as ‘gifts’ to avoid customs. I pointed out that as a business this was unethical, illegal plus poor practice.

Anyway, do NOT trust your goods with this item. The likliehood of it working to find any lost item is very slim. It failed to work on any of my items. Luckily someone was honest and handed my lost bag in. Trackr of no use at all....

Total scam - NOTHING in the adds says anything about TrackR being solely a Bluetooth device. It sells as if it is a GPS-connected device - AND IT IS NOT !! Forget finding your lost car or motorcycle - unless it is within Bluetooth range - and then you can probably see it - or use your remote key to active the turnsignal.
I was naive enough to believe what I read in the add - boy I regret - disappointed and frustrated at the Company behind such an (accidentically?) confusing campaign.
DON't BUY IT

Selv batteri holdte kun et par uger, og er værdiløst blik nu.

Trackr can't Track

I paid $USD 100 for 3 trackrs (with two free) for delivery to Perth, AustraIia because (a) my 16 y.o daughter was heading out to her first big teen rave party in a new city and we agreed it would be good to have a trackr device and (b) I was moving house and needed to keep track of the keys and phones that inevitably get lost on those occasions and (c) to help my ageing relative find her car at the mall.

The delivery estimate on the website said "AUSTRALIA: 8 days". I ordered the devices on Sunday 23rd July. It is now the 15th August and they have still not arrived. .......23 days !! And so my daughter did not get to her party and -yes- we did indeed lose the car keys during the move and -yes- I did get a call from my ageing relative asking for help to find the car at the mall.

When you order Trackr, you are given a DHL eCommerce tracking number which on seeing "DHL" would make most people believe the delivery would be straight forward.

Wrong.

The irony did not escape me (and should not escape Trackr Co. either) that the so-called DHL online tracking status fell off the global radar for 13 days once it left "Carson, USA".

Trackr says "Never lose anything again", but I'm not sure how they can say this when they seem to have lost track of my order while I have totally lost my patience.

To this end, I would not recommend this company until they use a proper courier service who can ship the goods to you in several days.

Jeg fik dog et sagligt svar OG mine penge tilbage efter en uges tid. Derfor får de trods alt 2 stjerner
