Trans America 401k people give misleading information and mis information. For Some who knows nothing about this stuff. They answered my questions knew what I wanted and never said what my next step should be I lead to believe that I did all I had to do for the out came I wanted. Now three months down the road. Nothing. Blaming saying I didn’t say what I wanted. ????? Not trust worthy.

All off my questions were answered and so far I am satisfied with the company.
Don’t understand how this company can get such good reviews. I double paid my life insurance premium by mistake due to a recurring payment set up that I wasn’t aware of. They said that I had to wait 7 business days for a refund. Despite 4 telephone calls it has now been a month and I have still not received the refund. The response from Transamerica just demonstrates how awful their service is. It was a wire transfer and the funds left my bank the next day. They have had the funds in question almost one month. They respond without looking into the situation. They always say the same thing and that is because they don't know what they are doing. They are one excuse after another and no one actually looks into anything. How long does it take for a wire transfer? It takes one day and it is almost exactly one month now since the payment was made. I showed them proof. I sent them my bank statements. I have now been forced to contact the government authorities as these people are unresponsive. I bought my policy from Western Reserve Life and they took it over and are from what I can see unable to manage simple things like returning an overpayment in a month. The absurdity of saying that they have to wait for a month old wire transfer to clear just makes my point about them being disorganized. Their response is outrageous.

wish i could give a ZERO star rating They are intentionally deceptional and hold your 401k money when you request a rollover Iwas denied access to upload my documents with "timeout" errors and website down postings multiple times before they accepted it Then i efaxed with confirmation on 3/27 and they denied getting it Finally last monday they said everything was accepted and the rollover would begin 10 daysafter they got the documents only to learn no they froze my account and never called back as promised to rectify the situation I will be filing a compaint with the EBSA dept of labor DONT GIVE them your 401K accounts !

If i could leave a 0 star rating I would I went to draw my 401k money out and faxed them the paperwork and they screwed off for 2 weeks processing it and the stupid market supposedly went down and they shorted me 1,300 dollars after they told me what I would be getting over the phone. Dont deal with these people they will rip you off and take your money. I guess its legal for them to rob us and we cant do anything about it. Any good review on this company is lies and made up.

This is ridiculous I called on my aunts behalf 92 year old cancelled accident insurance a year ago they still billing her and I ask for a supervisor it felt like forever before they put the supervisor on the phone and how they fast talk clients who is hard of hearing and old is a disgrace didn’t like how they handled my aunt on the phone!
