DO NOT BUY IF YOU'RE BIGGER

Got it because I heard all this good stuff about the brand only to be severely disappointed. For reference I'm size DD, I followed all their videos and all it did was mush my tissue around, you could still see a large outline through my shirt, even with a good binder over top you could still see the outline of my chest.
Also it barley sticks at all! An hour after applying it started to peel up off my skin and become useless.
On top of it all, after only a few hours I had to take it off as my chest started to rash and break out all over, to the point even my shirt touching the skin makes it sting.

Not to mention they have it in their site so that they are under no fault for any skin reaction, so they must know this would happen. Also you can't even get a refund unless you do a return, but you can only return if the product is unopened, so you can't even test if you'll rash then return it. Scummy and shifty in all ways!

And the instruction manual, don't get me started, first the use of melted ai images is a slap in the face, and hard to even see what you're looking at, but also the rather explicit nature of the images.

Waste of money

It costs 32 pounds including shipping to the UK, which is too much for a product that barely works. First, it's very difficult to apply and the tutorials were no help at all. Then, when you finally get it on, it's useless. It does nothing to bind or hide the chest at all and peels off so easily. Removal is difficult and painful and the oil does nothing at all to alleviate this, that's another 15 quid down the drain. Dissapointed as it's a waste of money but even moreso it crushed my hopes that i'd have a more comfortable and effective alternative to binding.

TransTape, my top 3 complaints

Actual tape, Amazing. Only complaint is that you can only stick it once before it looses its entire will to ever stick to anything again.

However, my list of complaints varys- and is the reason for 3/5
1st off, SHIPPING
Holy HeIl is it expensive. Shipping to America is 11 DOLLARS thats almost 100% OF THE TAPES COST. And honestly, its the reason I cant buy any.

Second, the learning curve. When I tell you there is not a offical guide that helped me AT ALL. And when I tell you I had to go to YOUTUBE SHORTS to mind information...

Yeah, you could say I had a bit of a bad experience. Top 3 complaints are Shipping, Actually Applying the tape, and the lack of Information.

I’ve been taping for a while and I’ve always used Transtape. However, I feel that as time passes by, the quality of their tape keeps going down. I’ll apply the tape in the morning and by the afternoon, the tape will already undo itself under my shirt. Its become really annoying because it can’t even be used for one full day and I used to go 3-4 days with it on

Downhill and disgraceful

I bought from transtape years ago and while it was pricy, I was very content. It would bind well and comfortably, especially in summer months. The quality has been going downhill significantly in the last few years, sadly. The first day after applying it's nice, but after one day it stretches and wears out and breasts become very visible again. Even if you round the corners, the adhesive will also just lose its power after a few days and the tape will pretty much fall off.

I was happy to see they got a shipping location in Europe because their overseas shipping is ridiculous. But somehow the European shipping is also incredibly expensive.

Like other reviews here say, the shipping is no longer discreet, it does say 'transtape' on the package. The folders coming in the package are indeed very explicit. The worst insult is the folder with application instructions. It uses AI-generated pictures that are so deformed, I could barely see what they were meant to show. It's a huge middle finger to all artists and frankly to their models as well.

This is a company that has stopped caring as soon as they made a name for themselves. The trans community deserves so much better. Just buy (broad) sports tape, it's cheaper and better. Never buying here again.

Most importantly

Most importantly - it didn't work. After seeing the "lift" instructions on their site, I bought it expecting it'd be an universal alternative to a traditional bra, as I have an exotic size. It wasn't the case - it just flattened my breast, giving the opposite result.

Having said that - it irritated my skin. I didn't get any allergic reaction, it was just the adhesion.

Now, when it comes to the removal - the provided oil did indeed make it painless, but it left the skin heavily covered in the oil, like when you spill cooking oil, but much worse. I had to rub my breasts twice with rubbing alcohol to get them to tolerable oiliness - and by tolerable I mean the "applied too much lotion" state, not a natural dry state.

Additionally, they promised discreet packaging - the name "Transtape" was readable on the shipment label.

Also, what I saw on the included pamphlet was far from appropriate... I'd call it gore and sexually explicit at the same time.

I DID NOT RECEIVE MY PACKAGE

I usually received all my packages from them but this time I didn’t. I contacted their customer service “help desk” they gave me the run around. Told me I had to file a claim with insurship protection, so I did. It takes 3-7days for them to review it. Insurship has nothing but bad reviews all over google saying you won’t get your money back. I even asked transtape customer service for a refund they refused. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Gone downhill

I've been buying from them for a few years. Since they've gotten bigger, the customer experience has gotten noticeably worse. First of all, the tape used to pretty much stay the same; now for some reason it's a game of roulette wherein there will be a completely different kind of adhesive on any given roll. That not only means if you want to be safe you have to perform a patch test every single time you use a new roll and that the quality wildly varies from purchase to purchase, but also that the chances are incredibly high you won't be able to use many of the rolls you buy. An inconvenience which, if my below experience is any indication, the company will not care less about.
Their customer service has also gone from being friendly and above-and-beyond accomodating in the past, to now basically not giving two craps about your problem, even when it's arguably their fault. To make matters worse, their website changes constantly and the information provided to customers about the products is often inconsistent and confusing.
Unfortunately I got caught in both of these traps. I ordered about a million packs of the completely wrong size nipple covers, because in the intervening time since I had last ordered them, they decided to start carrying a larger size in addition to the original size. Unfortunately the way they updated their website was to change the label of the original size to "nipple covers - small," and to change the original label "nipple covers" with no mention of size to point to the new larger ones, thereby causing much confusion. I accidentally waited to open my package until after their return window closed, and sent them a very polite email asking if there was anything at all they could do since I spent tens of dollars on a huge amount of products I fully couldn't use due entirely to their confusing website descriptions. They wrote back and were basically just like "Sorry *you* ordered wrong. You're outside the 30 days, good luck, sucks to suck." I knew they might not take the product back or give me a full refund (even though it's in totally new unopened condition and has been sitting in a box so that's kinda silly), but I am used to the industry standard of being offered at the very least a consolation 5-10% off coupon for a problem even when it is more unambiguously my error. I was really put off by the way they were just like "Sorry not sorry, we don't care."

WATCH OUT!

First of all, the tape took nearly two months to arrive, but it would've been better if it never arrived.

The tape scarred the skin permanently after the first use. The skin blistered so bad under the tape that it peeled off together with the tape. And yes, it was applied as instructed and removed with their removal oil, as instructed.

The seller's disclaimer saves them from all responsibilities (read it!), so they must know about the problem.

Very, very disappointing experience!
