Recent i had a group trip with trekpanda we all friends planned Kalsubai trek with them the process was so easy and good the management was really good and the leader was also knowledgeable person and had guided so well. Overall the trek was so good and fun thank you trekpanda for great experience
I am writing this review based on my recent experience with TrekPanda during a trip to Namemachi and Satsada Waterfall.
We left Pune at around 1:00 AM, and midway through the journey, our travel van broke down. We were informed by the driver that the brake pad had come off and there was significant oil leakage. We were also told that, since it was the middle of the night, it would take time to get assistance.
What happened next was extremely inconvenient and exhausting. We were asked to adjust in another vehicle where passengers already had their assigned seats. As a result, we had to stand for approximately 50 kilometres in the middle of the night until we reached the base location.
This was especially difficult because we had travelled specifically for a trek and were expected to begin the trek after reaching the base location. Standing for such a long distance during the journey meant that some of us were already tired even before the trek began.
What disappointed me even more was the response from the team afterward. Even during the induction at the base location, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused and no apology.
When I raised the concern with the trek guide, I was told that the mechanical failure was not his fault and that “these things happen.” I understand that mechanical failures can occur unexpectedly. However, a reported brake-related issue is not something that should simply be dismissed, this is about safety anything could have happened. Moreover when passengers are then expected to stand and travel for around 50 kilometres in the middle of the night.
My interaction with the operations guy Atharva was even more disappointing. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, I was asked, essentially, whether I wanted an apology or accountability. When I explained that I was raising a genuine concern about the entire experience and the lack of acknowledgment, I was told, “Okay, you want sorry, right? I will make the trek guide say sorry.”
That was not the point. I was not demanding a forced apology. I expected the team to acknowledge the inconvenience caused, communicate responsibly, and handle the situation with basic empathy, accountability and most importantly reciprocation. We paid 1.7K per person for all this?
We paid approximately ₹1,700 per person for this trip, and after the significant inconvenience of standing for around 50 kilometres in the middle of the night before beginning a trek, I expected at least some acknowledgment, accountability, or a goodwill gesture from the organisers. Unfortunately, none of that was offered.
The issue was not just the mechanical failure itself, but the lack of preparedness for such a situation, the inconvenience caused to passengers, and the dismissive and rude response when genuine concerns were raised.
Trek panda from Pune they are literally fraud peoples they don't clear payment of vehicle they hired my 14000 they didn't clear last of last year. They hired my vehicle on last week of December in 2025 till date they didn't clear don't take any bookings from trek panda they all r fraud
Lingya Waterfall Trek | 25th July’26
Captain: Harsh, Sandeep Deol, Rushikesh
It was an amazing experience. Really love the captains. They give ample amount of time to enjoy and were very organised. Would love to go out with the same bunch of people.
Trekpanda trip to Lingya waterfall (Pune) was an unexpectedly excellent experience for a first timer like me. The entire planning and arrangements were well coordinated. The three captains’ guidance and engagement with the group made the trek easy and enjoyable. Thanks to captains Sandeep, Harsh and Rushikesh
I had been on several trips with Trek Panda, but recently I went on two trips
1. 19th July 2026, Lingya waterfall trek. Caption name:- Suyog Chavan
2. 25th July 2026, Lingya waterfall trek.
Caption names:- Sandeep Deol, Harsh, Rushikesh.
Both were my solo trips, and I really enjoyed a lot. The captains didn't make me feel like I was a solo traveler, they were attentive all the time. The food was great, captains mafe the entire group interact with each other and have fun. Special thanks to Suyog and Sandeep, they are really experienced, professional and kind Captains. Looking forward to more trips.

Worst experience I have ever had with a travel agency. I honestly don't understand how they have a 4.6 star Google rating.
If you don't know how to manage a travel agency and handle clients properly, please consider changing your business. This is not how a professional trekking company should operate. I would like to give a negative rating, but unfortunately, that's not possible.
I joined the Hampta Pass Trek last week and later discovered that our booking had been transferred to another agency. Not only did they charge us more than the actual operating agency, but they also accepted more than 50 participants with only two guides. After merging with the other agency's group, the total strength became around 120 trekkers with only four trek leaders.
The entire experience felt more like a school picnic than a professionally managed trek. If your business model is simply to transfer clients to another agency, then why are you operating a trekking company at all?
Trekking involves people's safety and lives, not just selling a product to a third party. If you cannot manage treks responsibly, kindly stop operating such services.
You are better suited to selling products than managing people's lives. If you cannot ensure proper safety, planning, and client management, please stop operating trekking expeditions.
