Trinity claims - first class service

I had a very bad experience with a car crash and unfortunately my car was written off. However, I am insured by Policy Expert and Trinity claims dealt with my claim. The service and response from them was fantastic and they have paid out quickly and most of all fairly. I have been able to purchase the identical car with the settlement. Thanks Dan and team for a fantastic process.

Fire destruction in July 2025

We had a big fire at our property, right from day one trinity have been amazing, Scott was patient and understanding and made the devastation more bearable. Macadam property and Building services came to do the work. Tony is the most amazing man, he sent Lee and Darren to do the ground work, weeks of bad weather and they never stopped, great guys. Tony sent Chis and Phil to sort the rebuild and wow the work they have achieved is outstanding. You could never get better, they were polite, helpful, committed to helping us through the trauma of the extensive damage the fire caused. We would recommend this company to anyone , Trust pilot and Mcadams are the best. Thank you for everything you have done.

Good basics, poor communication.

We had to call on our insurers because we found we had a leak in the water pipe under our drive. Their response was very quick, and they appointed a contractor the same day. The contractor came out quickly, assessed the job and made arrangements to come and fix the leak on a Monday. Unfortunately on the previous Thursday we lost all pressure in the house, meaning we had no services. We advised Trinity and the same day they advised that we could move into a hotel, and asked us to obtain a quote. All so far was excellent service. We sent the quote on the Thursday, and heard nothing. On Friday we were asked to send the quote in writing, which we did - and heard nothing from them. We tried to ring them but gave up after 18 minutes. A manager at the contractor rang them on our behalf and got through after 20 minutes, spoke to a Team Leader and asked them to call us. We heard nothing. We took it upon ourselves to move into a hotel at this stage as we had no hot water, no showers, no toilets, etc. We messaged them again on Saturday, and heard nothing. Sunday also passed by with no communication from them. On Monday we received a message thanking us for the quote which had been forwarded for approval. That same day the contractors (Smart Drain UK) arrived and installed a temporary water supply for us, so we were able to move back home. No approval for the quote was received on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. At this stage I submitted our hotel costs to them anyway, and the next day, we were advised that our costs had been approved! We received the funds a few days later. So Trinity got the essentials right, but the lack of communication caused us a lot of stress and anxiety. It seemed so unnecessary because otherwise the systems seem to be in place. And the contractors were brilliant.

Speedy attendance to survey the problem and a fair outcome I think with the settlement figure. I only hope that after many years of no claims that my premium next year will not be badly affected.
