Loose fitting on stove which needed tightening as we were had a gas leak Fitter told me we needed a complete replacement of pipes When I told him forget about the job I'll get someone else in it became an easy fix Beware of these guys

Tropical Coast Plumbing has very terrible customer service. Spoke with Bree which was terrible and was not able to help. Terrible pricing cost $$ per hour. I personally would not recommend this company, try anyone else but them. If you have to wait trust me wait.

Too expensive. Quoted over $2400 to put in a vanity & two sets of taps. Asked how long they thought it would take - reply 'whole day'.
Another plumber did work - took 2 1/2 hours and charged under $500.
They can't justify their pricing.

We had a massive leak. It was a relief to be able to find a plumber available to attend so close to Christmas.

$100 callout fee then $297 just to install two taps which I'd gotten from bunnings to replace the leaking ones on my Laundry Tub. They may be efficient and provide good service -- but way too expensive for small jobs. Find another mob.

Townsville branch - Very expensive. My jaw dropped when I received their invoice! Their invoice came to $757.86. Had to ask for an itemised invoice! A call out fee of $227.27 on top of the time spent at the premises for replacing a kitchen mixer tap ($177.60 plus GST) and fixing a tap leaking in the shower. He spent only 1 and half hours at the house. Apparently Saturday is an after hour call. I thought after hours would be after 5pm NOT on a Saturday mid morning! This was not clearly stated on their text message whatsoever. Also their prices on the text was $220 including GST but when I received their invoice GST was added on top! I am not going to pay this call out fee and will not be calling these thieves again!

Quick response and expensive

Guys were quick to respond and tell me what’s wrong, but left me with no temporary solution, but instead left me quite literally high and dry with no certainty on when the repair could be completed,

Might be a good company overall but seems as though some employees on the frontline let the reputation slip

They sent someone out the same day, Mick did a fantastic job, gave all the options and was more than happy to accommodate with our choices.

Would highly recommend to everyone, to call Tropical Coast Plumbing first!

Gave me a quote for a small gutter / flashing job. I agreed to the extorsionate sum, but then they came back demanding 50% andvance payment before they would do anything. Would not give a date for rectification / action until afer deposit payed.

Went out for 3 more quotes all 50% less than the extortionates. No deposit required and guaranteed completion dates and leak guarantee provided.

Forget these extortionates, believed to be trading from Brisbane. Use local and save 50%.

The pipe to the front water main died. Braeden and his co-pilot, a female apprentice turned up to tackle the issue. Braeden saw the potential of this becoming a recurring problem as the previous owners had fitted an irrigation pipe into the main. Now, I understand why this was the 2nd call-out to the issue.
No more mud baths for my dog. The pipe is finally fixed.

The plumbing team as well as support staff were very professional and helpful throughout, and we can't thank Dan enough for his aftercare support.

Had a plumber come out to look at a leaking tap was on-site less than 10mins and was told he couldn’t fix it and would need a whole new faucet which I would have to source then left. Received a bill months later for a hours work. Very disappointed as the plumber literally did nothing whilst he was here.

Last night we had a burst water pipe after hours . We rang Tropical Coast Plumbing and had a quick response from Dan .Dan was friendly , polite and explained what had happened . He completed the job quickly and we were very happy with his work . We totally recommend Tropical Coast Plumbing and Dan for all your plumbing issues .

you engage this business ensure you check the work site prior to tradesman leaving. Damage was done to our house by tradesman with boot marks visible around damaged area. Responsibly was denied and liability insurance details not supplied. Have spoken to others and this is not an unusual response from this company when damaged has been caused
