TruGreen - Columbia Avis 5

Our lawn was full of weeds and barely any grass under our one tree. Now it is lush and green the technicians have been very helpful in giving us watering and mowing advice as well. I would recomend Tru Geen over the copmpetion hands down!

I started out with one small area that wouldn’t grow in my front yard. After signing up with TruGren, I had a small tree removed from my front yard and had the entire area covered with sod. Not only is the sod dead but the area has expanded and I have spots in my backyard. They keep telling me that someone will be out to aerate my yard but no one shows up. The worse business EVER!!!

We recently started our service with Trugreen Columbia and provided all the details of our property over the phone of what we wanted treated with a Trugreen Representative. This was over a 30 minute conversation. We confirmed all details with the representative and with the audit staff confirming again all the details of our property size and issues of concern. We were quoted a price and paid in full. 4 days later a Trugreen representative came out for our first treatment and said the details were incorrect and that he didn’t have enough time to complete everything we needed done. He was only going to treat half of our yard and we insisted he at least treated the full back yard. He didn’t treat the weeds on our backyard patio which we told would be covered. He told us to call and update the details on our account. We called Trugreen to do just that. The person we spoke to read our file and the were incorrect details in our file and we were told we would have to pay another $350 to have everything we originally wanted actually completed. They completely misrepresented what the price was going to be and what would be covered. Absolutely do not recommend.

Beside the fact that customer service argued about the weeds in my yard, the tech does a lousy job. Part of my yard was lush and green, other sections were yellow. I had weeds all year. Its February and my yard is covered in weeds and poa annua. Pre emergent didn't work or was not applied. Recommendation, avoid this company.

I hired true green to take care of my brand new yard it was in pristine condition perfect look like a golf course. I heard them because I wanted to keep my lawn and tiptop condition I paid them $800 for one year of service. Four months after I hired them I started seeing brown spots on my yard I called them asked them to send somebody out to find out what was wrong with my yard. After three weeks of not getting any response I called the people that I purchased the sad from. Carolina fresh sod I took the pictures to them and they told me I had a fungus they told me how to treat it and I took care of it. But there’s damage to my yard and I’ll take a couple months to heal don’t ever use TruGreen.
