One of the best food deliveries in the city!

I’ve worked for Picnic as a delivery associate for about six months, and it’s been one of the best companies I’ve worked for.

It’s a fast-paced environment, but the support team is incredibly responsive and organized. During deliveries, they stay in constant communication to make sure everything runs smoothly, even while coordinating with many team members at once.

Like any operation, occasional hiccups happen, but they are handled quickly and efficiently. The team works hard to ensure that customers receive their orders on time and that the overall delivery experience remains consistent and reliable.

So I was at a restaurant and I saw a guy get out of his car and he had the picnic why would he be sitting there zipping up his jeans and adjusting his self and then going in there and not washing his hands and touching your all food . Made me question not to have people delivered

Convenient, efficient and delicious

Super convenient, large selection of restaurants, delicious food. Fantastic customer services. I like that some of my favorite restaurants are on Picnic so I can get delivery for free. Nothing but good things to say.

Getting better

Updated: They have improved and are constantly trying to make changes based on our feedback we have given them. Their team went out of their way to personally talk to each and every one of us to figure out what’s going on and to improve.

Since then, the team at Picnic has clearly made an effort to listen. They personally reached out to many of us to understand our concerns, and you can tell they’re serious about improving. The food has noticeably gotten better, more consistent and overall more enjoyable.

Big thanks to the team for taking feedback seriously and making real changes.

Old review: I never know what to expect when I order from Picnic, and honestly, it’s gotten pretty annoying. When you order a meal and read the description, you assume you’re going to get exactly what’s listed. Not here. One day my meal comes with fries, the next day the same order shows up without them. It feels like there’s no standard at all.

And even when the fries are included, they arrive soggy because they’re stuffed in the same container as the burger. It’s such a basic thing to separate hot items to keep them from turning into a mushy mess. If you can’t package them properly, maybe just leave them out altogether instead of charging for something that ends up in the trash.

The portions are also disappointingly small for the price. For $20, I expect to feel satisfied—not left rummaging through my work’s kitchen afterward because I’m still hungry.

It’s honestly frustrating to spend good money and never know what quality you’ll get. If you’re considering ordering from Picnic, don’t assume you’ll receive what you had before or even what’s advertised. The inconsistency alone is enough to make me hesitate before ordering again.

Improving ❤️‍🩹

Previous rating was 1 star.
Update: We had upper management come out to our company to address any issues we have had and how they would improve their service. So far after the meeting everything overall has improved, prices were dropped or close to previous listings, food quality had an uplift and is more consistent.
On occasion when a problems do happen they have done right and fixed any grievances I've had.
Overall I hope they continue with this trend 📈 but only time will tell.

A little more better

I had left a bad review because i beñieved that picnic didn’t care for the feedback we gave them but they proved me wrong. The GMs’ took time off their day to come to our company, cater to us and listen to our problems with their service and are actively improving where they were going wrong. Food is the right temperature now and seasoning is getting so much better.

Update

Updated Review: So we got a response after I submitted my review and they are actively seeking to make changes based on our feedback! Very friendly speaking with Arin and Lucas about the operations, the goals and services they wish to provide. Since their visit quality has improved and response from support has also improved! I will post updates as time goes on but much better after chatting.

Old: Where to start, Food shows up cold, Options are the same across "different spots" There is no flavor example the mashed potatoes would be better from a TV dinner, at least those are seasoned. Sure you place your order for lunch time but it's not helpful when they cancel your order 4 minutes before it is supposed to arrive so you have no chance to order a replacement and now you have to go out anyway so you can eat something at least. Or when you try to contact customer service and there is no one there to receive you're feedback or answer your questions. In the off chance there is someone to respond the only thing they will say is "this is not our intention" or "sorry we missed this time" the only reason I'm writing this review is there have been so many misses I lost track. Not to mention they raise the prices on items that start to get ordered often, our team shares options that seem ok and stay within the company budget that has been set and when we all start ordering it they raise the prices without reason or warning. One star rating is still too high in my opinion but here we are.

If i can rate this half a star , i would. They claim that this is a start up and that they are using our company as a tester… when it clearly shows that other companies are being lied to and told the same thing. Warm food is cold , hot food is warm. They even charge for damn napkins and utensils. I can’t believe we stopped using forkable for this, and that’s saying a lot!

All these 5⭐️ reviews super very dubious. Picnic makes the same five things and masquerades them as different restaurants. The food shows up cold and/or so early it sits around for half an hour before you can eat it. Hot food shows up cold, cold food shows up hot. There is also so much packaging waste from each employee getting a bag rather than one large group order. My company moved away from DoorDash and now uses Picnic, such a downgrade in mine and my coworkers opinions.

Order during commute, pick up between meetings

Whenever I'm in LA, I always order my lunch via Picnic. Super convenient - I order it in the morning during my commute, then it's ready for me to pick up at lunch time in between meetings. I have a few go-to favorites, but there are always some new options that look very tempting
