Very happy with the quality of my basic training life support teaching. Zahra was very engaging with the class and helped me gain good insight and knowledge for future events which may occur.

I was cold called by this company and offered a first aid training course, which sounded great, and I agreed to book a course in 2 months time. However after checking it with colleagues, some were unavailable, others already had the qualification and the venue I thought would facilitate it was unsuitable, so I cancelled almost 2 months before the date. I was then sent an invoice for over £200. Their explanation for charging this was “our cancellation terms”, which they sent with the invoice. Disgusting. Stay away from this company!!!

the training was really good, i still remember at least 3 laws from the manual handling training. I remember that hoisting a patient and having the sling takes away their freedom so you must put them down when possible quickly, even if you had to go get something else, you do not leave the patient up in the air in the hoist, you must put them back onto the bed comfortably and then hoist them after you have went to get what you need. the BLS training was good as well.

Head office is pushy, rude and inconsistent. We are a business who supports many charities and we have been charged for a course which we did NOT confirm and has not been delivered to us. This has resulted in a CCJ being issued against us. We had no communication although we clearly stated that the dates didn't work for us but we would confirm as soon as we could. Tutorcare did not wait for this and went ahead and issued us the fee for a course we did not have. We support young people who do not access education for various reasons and all our staff work to support this. Do NOT use this company, however, they do have some lovely subcontractors who we have used in the past. We now have a court summons for something that has been charged to us and was not delivered. I would NOT recommend at all.

An extremely disappointing experience with Tutorcare. Based on how they have handled this matter, I would strongly advise others to avoid them.
I contacted Tutorcare about potential first aid training for members of a sports club. During the sales call, I explained that I was driving, was still gauging interest and had not confirmed a date. I was happy to call back once I knew what we needed, but I felt pressured by the salesperson to secure a date immediately, with reassurance that it could be changed later.
No cancellation charge was explained to me. The only reference to Terms & Conditions was that they were on the website. As I had already explained that I was driving, I could not access, read or assess those terms during the call. I would not have agreed to reserve a date while arrangements were uncertain had the cancellation charge been clearly explained.
I have a copy of the sales call transcript and rely on it to support my account of what was actually said.
When I challenged the cancellation invoice, Tutorcare failed to meaningfully address these concerns. They have also pursued my business, despite the enquiry being for a separate sports club and the call making clear that my business’s staff already had first aid cover.
Despite my attempts to seek a resolution, their correspondence has been rude and dismissive. I have been described as “unnecessarily difficult”, and part of my position has been called “comical”. That is an unacceptable way to speak to someone raising a genuine complaint.
I raised a formal complaint, but in my experience they refused to follow their own complaints policy or properly investigate the concerns I raised. They proceeded with court action without resolving the dispute and have refused my requests to share the court papers, leaving me trying to respond without the documents I requested.
They also accidentally sent me another company’s Letter Before Court, containing information about that company’s alleged debt and threatened legal proceedings. It seems to me they have a high reputation of financially benefiting of these county court claims. I immediately raised this with Tutorcare and informed the affected company, they ignored me.
What began as a tentative training enquiry has become a stressful and time-consuming dispute. At every stage, I have sought answers and a resolution. The responses I have received have left me with no confidence in their sales practices, customer service or complaints handling.
I will not use Tutorcare again. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere.

Like many others have reported, we contacted TutorCare to get a quote and experienced very aggressive selling and pressure to commit to a date over the phone. They then sent an invoice before anything had been formally agreed and charged a cancellation fee when we decided not to go ahead. The T&Cs were not clearly articulated in advance of an invoice being sent and they are now threatening legal action to collect the cancellation fee.

Craig did an excellent and detailed explanation with practicals during Emergency first aid lectures.
It was really interesting and informative
Craig is actually a good tutor, he taught us about First aid, choking, seizure, etc. I have really learnt a lot today especially the first aid treatment, now I’m confident to respond to any victim that is in need to first aid treatment, he’s also friendly which make his class to me interacting and interesting.
Craig was my tutor for Emergency First Aid. I feel more confident in carrying out first aid especially after going through CPR.
Thank you.
Very interest training by Craig today on First Aid Training.
I feel much confident been a first Aider.
I would recommend this service provider and training/trainer any day any time.
I enjoyed my experience with Craig and he taught us well and related with us perfectly
I have a good knowledge of the training and Craig was patient with me personally and everyone basically
The delivery and the teacher were quite helpful and I love the tempo and the method of teaching .
I had a great experience completing my NVQ3. My assessor, Chloe, was the best. She was always prompt and explained calmly when I needed to resubmit a unit. She didn't waste time marking my units or giving me new units. She's the absolute best.

I started with tutor care a few years ago.I was given handbooks and that was it.I asked my tutor to call me and show me how to use the handsbooks and what was needed. She would not respond to my messages on time when I needed they help.I ended up giving up and lost 800 pounds.I wrote and email requesting a different tutor but I was never responded.I still look back and am heartbroken some of the work given was not in the handbook the app to submit is so complicated I need a whole lesson

Craig was excellent at teaching our first aid training today! He made the course engaging with a lot of practical focus and discussion. This enhanced our retention of all the information and he made us all feel more than comfortable to ask any questions or scenarios relating to first aid.

Hii I am one of the victim of this Tutor care, I lost £150 due to misleading information provided by one of the marketing representatives of Tutor Care.
I initially contacted them because I was interested in enrolling on the NVQ Level 3 Diploma course. During the discussion, the representative strongly encouraged me to enrol and assured me that I would have a 14-day cooling-off period. I was specifically told that if I changed my mind or was not satisfied with the course, I could opt out within those 14 days and receive a full refund of the money I had paid.
However, before the 14-day cooling-off period had expired, I informed them that I wanted to opt out of the course. Instead of honouring what had been explained to me, they gave me various reasons and referred to different terms and conditions, claiming that I was not eligible to cancel and receive a refund.
As a result, I have lost £150. I believe I was given misleading information regarding the cooling-off period and refund policy at the time of enrolment. Had the terms and conditions been clearly explained to me from the beginning, I would not have proceeded with the payment.
I am therefore requesting that this matter be reviewed and that my £150 payment be refunded in full. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of why the information provided to me by the marketing representative differs from the terms and conditions that are now being used to refuse my cancellation.
