10/10 driving perfection
I had the pleasure of attending a driving experience at the York car chase heroes track and it was nothing short of excellence!
All of the staff were so polite and genuinely happy to see you, and the co drivers of the cars were fantastic! Offering great coaching of the track and truly making you feel welcomed and confident behind the wheel.
The booking process was very simple and smooth, and my wait time was non existent due to how they stagger the cars for your drive
10/10 all the way is fully recommend it to anybody!

birthday gift for my son
It was birthday gift for my son, he enjoyed driving 2 cars. Only problem come up that online system allowed to book for him Dodge Hellcat, which is only for adults. But been offered other car instead of the Dodge, so problem sorted out. Booking process was easy and staff helpful.

The instructors were great
The instructors were great, good to talk to and informative. The booking in process was so smooth and I didn't need any of the paperwork i had been asked to take. We were at the York track ,my husband was doing the truck experience. The information given prior to the day was sadly all about the cars which gave us no idea on what to expect other than the possible waiting times , which was a shame. My husband was relieved when we arrived and it became more clear . There was no sign to know where to stand to wait for the truck experience. We had it pointed out to us but otheres weren't so lucky. There was professional lorry training going on towards the end of the track area other couples found it very miss leading, and waited an extra hour which delayed their turn due to being in the wrong area.

Great cars but a bit disorganised and a lot of money for a really short drive
Great cars but a bit disorganised. Also £150 for effectively 1.5 laps (as half the first lap was coming out the pit lane) felt like a bit of a rip off. We didn’t have time to get to the lookout point before our son’s experience was finished!

Best birthday present ever!
This was a birthday present for my grandson and from start to finish he was treated to a wonderful experience.
Of course he was nervous to begin with, but the instructor quickly gave him confidence in a safe environment and he came away thrilled with his day.

A great family day out
The staff were welcoming and friendly, and very informative. An excellent day for the whole family, even for the non-drivers like myself! The drivers in our group had a wonderful time and said the instructor was superb. A fantastic experience!
We had to change our original booking at this was super easy by just contacting staff beforehand via email.

Very mixed emotions
Booked the experience and tried to contact udrive 3 times by phone no answer on hold for over 25 mins each time, I then tried to contact twice by email and had no reply…..
Arrived at the event and was looked after really well until my name was announced to sit on a seat waiting to be taken to my car I was driving, I waited over 50mins, then eventually taken to my dream car that is a classic E type jag, only to be told I would not be able to change gears because it was an old car, took a lot of the experience away from me…
Loved the fact I have got to drive my dream car, just disappointed with the money that had been spent to be left waiting that long and then not getting the full experience…..

I would like to ask that you email office@udrivecars.com so I can assess the process that went wrong from what seems like the beginning for you. Our emails do have a minimum answering time of 48 hours due to staff attending events etc. However I can only assume if it was missed, this is an error.
I can see on the event date you attended that the Jaguar E Type was paired with the Caterham 7 experience and due to a sudden staff shortage that morning, it did hinder some of our waiting times, again this is not a fault of your own.
In the Jaguar E Type, the gearing is extremely difficult and with only a certain amount of laps to drive the vehicle, we would not want you to ruin the experience with any incorrect gear changes. An example of this is our Shelby Cobra where by a customer changed from 5th to 3rd but unfortunately, they missed 3rd and hit 1st on the tight gear selection and completely destroyed the engine and transmission. This not only ruined the car, but the customer was gutted as they waited a year to drive the Cobra.

Monday was my best day what I won’t…
Monday was my best day what I won’t forget. Worth every penny. I had to time to drive a GT4 car, a Hellcat and a Huracan. I have to say thanks to all the owners letting me a bit naughty. It was an unforgettable day for me. Hopefully see you guys soon! Staff were helpful and nice! Recommended!

Great experience, will return
All the staff were very friendly and helpful including the instructors allowing you to get the most out of the cars including in corners really showing you how to drive fast on the track, can't wait to go again absolutely loved it, I drove the gt40, ariel atom, Camaro zl1 and the hellcat. My son did a drive at Carlisle airport
My son did a drive at Carlisle airport, he was so excited and wanted to drive the dodge hellcat, I booked online but was told when we arrived he was too young and could only drive certain cars. You do feel forced to take a waiver out but I would say it wasn’t worth doing, they didn’t go far and couldn’t get up to any speed so the likelihood you would need the waiver was very slim. We waited 2 hours for his turn, this was expected however the app kept telling him it was going to be sooner than it was which was difficult for him as he is autistic. I think if I went again I would arrive earlier than the instructions as they seemed to do it in the order they arrived. The food and drink it very expensive so take your own and chairs for everyone as it will be a wait. I bought a voucher from Groupon for £21 which made it a lot cheaper, do this in advance as I did have some issues with the codes not working.

I can see from the booking that an adult voucher was used to make the booking from Groupon which meant the Dodge Hellcat was showing as available. Our Junior Voucher would not show the Hellcat as an option. The damage waiver itself is a product that is better to have and not need, than need and not had. The waiver is optional and you have the right to not take the waiver, but would be liable if something was to happen to the vehicle during driving. The Airport is one of the fastest experience day venues on our calendar and if something was to go wrong, it is a product worth having.
In regards to timings, we give the best indication we can to how long it would be for you to drive and do ask that 3 hours is allowed only because, issues can arise that do prolong the day. The cafe on site is very new and we are looking into alternative ways they can reduce the cost for our customers such as vouchers on arrival etc.

Very friendly and enthusiastic staff.
All team members were very friendly and helpful, the young instructors were especially enthusiastic and , very importantly, reassuring in their advice and comments. Yes, they encouraged us to consider purchasing more circuits of the track but never in a pushy way. The E-type Jag was unfortunately out of action by the time we arrived but the team immediately offered a great action plan to make up for the disappointment.
My son enjoyed himself so much he took advantage of a special offer near the very end of the afternoon to enjoy 3 more supercars for a great price.
Special mention goes to the Atom driver for a very thrilling, but never scary ride!

Well organised, however I would say the"compulsory" (no real alternative) to having to take out the insurance waiver at £34, plus car parking of another £2 is a bit of a con.
