In short, we needed to upgrade our company website due to the heavy load on the server. Rather than just pushing us in to a top package aka a dedicated server I was duly advised of all the options and what was the best route to take in the first instance. The migration of our website from the old server to the new was so seamless we didn't even noticed it being done. 10/10 all round and definitely recommended.

I have had the simple issue three times, the email would not get into the inbox, i.e. would get lost inside their servers. No senior staff by name Will, no support at ukhost4u, too bad if it is all they can is to follow the handbook. If this are not written in the book, tech support is lost, waiting till Mon when Will comes back to work.

Fantastic service, immediate responses to queries and seamless, almost painless transfer of my service firm an old provider. The team are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to help you. After transfer the after care was great and again, very patient and useful tips.

For such a low price I was worried that you get what you pay for but this really does not seem the case with the hosting cloud They provide a exceptional service for a very low cost.

I host a number of websites with Ukhost4u and from the very beginning they have offered a fantastic support service, are easy to use and most importantly are UK-based. When I began with my first site I didn't have a clue what to do and I would say that I am still not that technically-minded, but Ukhost4u have been brilliant with their advice and guidance. I chose them after reading as many reviews as I could find and I have not been disappointed.

I moved over to Ukhost4u about 3 months ago. They've made everything really easy - the whole transfer was smooth and painless. They always respond quickly to messages and the telephone support is equally good.

Despite those guys are a very good value for the money as far as shared hosting is concerned, once you find yourself in the trouble, due to no fault of yours, the tech support is literally nill unless you are lucky enough to speak to a few special individuals at this company, for certain I know Will is a capable one.

However, if Will is not around, you will find yourself going in circles and my own tech staff is more capable to troubleshoot than the ukhost4u tech support.

Still worth a shot, once you learnt above how to go about once you are in trouble.

If I can offer you one piece of advice, don’t use this company!

Tried to change the Registrar tag, total nightmare so ended up getting nominet involved who resolved the issue within days.
I tried to speak to the owner but unfortunately he never personally returned my emails or phones calls, I could only ever speak to support.
If customer service is important to you, keep looking!

I needed free website domain, as I didn’t have much money when I started my business. The ukhost4u.com has made my dream come true with their facilities and services, which also includes giving up free web space for the clients they have. It has helped me and today I have enough money to support myself and my family.

I have had a number of issues of late with two of my websites which are hosted with,Ukhost4u and they have sorted both matters out in a timely and professional manner. I have not used any other hosting company so I cannot compare in that respect, this is based on my own personal experience. I would recommend them to friends or family as they offer really good value for money. Compared to other hosting companys which seem cheap with their introductory offers but when you add it up over a year they are not as cheap as you first think. Ukhost4u worth a try I think.

Been with UKHost4U for a number of years starting with their basic package. I am now on one of the more expensive SSD plans. UKHost4U have always helped me promptly whenever I have submitted support requests.

I even moved host for a short while to a cheaper option (standalone server with no CPanel etc, all command line) with another company and then back again to UKHost4U when the cheaper option no longer met my needs because the command line was to difficult for me to use. Not only did UKHost4U help me move to the cheaper option but also helped me move back to UKHost4U when I was ready.

Whenever I upgrade my account with UKHost4U they move all of the files and databases over and make the transition as quick and efficient as possible,

Some of the support requests I have submitted to UKHost4U have not always simple tasks but involved quite a bit of technical understanding. UKHost4U was always able to help.

Would recommend UKHost4U to anyone.

From request to actioning and billing and receipt within 24 hours. All acheived without going off-shore so there are understandable people at the end of the phone.

We switched to UKHost4U for our reseller hosting solution as our previous company’s servers were desperately slow. We have never been sorry that we switched. UKHost4U's servers are lightning fast and their support is excellent. All of our questions have been answered and resolved quickly and efficiently. Their staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I have been a customer of UKHost4u for two years and during this time the customer service & service offering has got worse and worse. The quality of the hosting is poor and there are often speed issues along with reliability issues. No communication when the issues occur assuming most people will not notice.

The customer facing staff are often rude, if you can actually get through to speak to anyone, and often you are put on hold indefinitely until you just give up. Don't expect a quick email response either, as there is little to no chance of that happening.

Over the time I have been with this company it has gone down hill, to the point now they cancelled my hosting account before the specified time of the end of the billing cycle. Entire account wiped out, all websites gone and apparently they could not do a restore of the server. Unbelievable and incredibly unprofessional.

I requested to speak to a manager and was told I would have to email as that is the only way I can contact them. No response back, no phone call, complete lack of urgency and regard for me or my business - to this time no resolution.

If you value your websites then make sure you do not host with this unreliable company.

The only thing l would say is they don't phone back to confirm when you think you have a problem, not the end of the world, just got on with it.

I have used UKhost4U for years with different domains and never had a problem. I have recently read some bad stuff about how they are unhelpful and the service is down a lot. Well from my experience I can 100% honestly say I would highly recommend them. Help is just a click away and they action really quickly and we don't even pay for a SLA. I think in about 8 years my site has been offline once due to some sort of issue and then it wasn't very long.

Don't be fooled by the bad press they seem to be getting well worth your money.
