I was trying to find a light waterproof jacket. Leuhip was extremely helpful and looked up my chosen jacket on the internt to ensure it was fully waterproof and found a better price for me. I purchased the jacket from the store. Very happy

Really good service re walking shoes from Aidan,
Very informed about the hard wearing types of soles in certain makes and also which makes came up slightly wider.

Visited the store today 26/01/25. The lovely warm skiing coat I had bought from here 10 years ago had finally given up! All the staff were extremely helpful, unlocking the security locks so I could try on numerous designs and makes. Barry was polite and chatty as always and Kim on the till was a delight. Did I buy a coat..no, my husband and I bought walking socks, base layers a warm coat and a shell jacket!! Thank you to all the staff for helping us to spend our money😂.

I had questions about a torch that I was unable to find out from the packaging and signal in the shop was too poor to look it up online.

Libby helped me find that information about the torches and recommended one based off my needs.

DAN gave us truly outstanding service today when we went to kit our daughter out for her Bronze DofE expedition. Armed with little more than a list and clueless in every other way, we really benefited from their expertise as they guided us through what was needed, what definitely wasn’t and where we could make the most cost effective choices for our requirements. We went to Go Sports yesterday looking for a pair of Merrill walking shoes
Picked a pair at£125 went to the check out an I was told if I am not a member at a cost if £5 I would have to pay the full amount of £139
I was disappointed with this misrepresentation of there goods , will never go there again
Decided to go to Blacks had a very helpful young lady named Dan , I told here what I wanted the exact same pair of Merrill shoes which were £90 without having to join, she bought them to me an they were ok and took me to the check out

Absolutely brilliant service Leah P couldn’t have been more helpful. I wasn’t the easiest customer either with specific needs so I was so pleased to get the help and advice given by Leah. Nothing was too much trouble to help me get the right product. Never been to this shop before but will definitely be coming back and recommending.
