Poor quality. The item came broken and instead of giving a me replacement for the boxes, they provided bits and pieces of it. The replacement part even has issues and is defective. Would not recommend.

The quality of their products is legit, and they take great care to ensure that your product arrives safe. When ordering, please note that you should give yourself extra time between 2 weeks and a month, as international shipping is beyond their control. So, if you have an event, order ahead of time.

I can only say that if you are ordering for yourself or making them a partner, I recommend working with them. They treat and handle their customers well and with care.

We bought the Japanese Cyan Ceramic tea set for our daughter and she absolutely adores it. She loves the ceremony of making fresh tea for her friends. The set is a beautiful colour and really well made. We also bought the utensils and a few samples of tea. All arrived in a timely manner (France). I didn't receive a confirmation email of my order so contacted Umi, they responded really quickly, apologised and confirmed date of dispatch. 100 % recommended.

very nice and beautiful tea pot. a little bit smaller than i anticipated, it was hard to see the actual size on the pictures. no infuser was included so i asked what size it was and then they kindly sent me one for free.

Love my Umi tea set so much I bought a tea cup for my niece! They quality is amazing and the colors they create thru their firing process is like no others!

I had placed a large order with Umi and the majority of the order came perfectly as described with one of the handmade teacups being fairly different from what was pictured.

While I was fully aware that the items were handmade and the item photographed was label as a representation and not necessarily the item I would receive. When I got the item it was not nearly as vibrantly colored nor did the pattern of the cup match what I had received.

I reached out to their customer support team and expressed how I wasn't happy with the cup. I was instructed to provide photographs of the cups and try to display it under different lighting to see if the light conditions would make it look more like what was advertised. Once I did that and had shown that the cup still did not remotely resemble the advertisement the customer support representative was more than happy to discuss ways to rectify the situation. I was given the option to either return the cup for a full refund or they could send me a replacement cup that would hopefully be more to my liking. I opted in for the second option and the replacement I got was perfect.

I would highly recommend working with this company.

They were very quick to delivery with care.
I had a couple broken tea cups that they replaced with haste and they were very nice about it.
The tea set is very traditional and I think this should be shared more so others may have tea zhen time.

I bought a tea set for my wife for her birthday. It arrived in a timely fashion and my wife loved it. It did however, arrive with broken peices. I emailed customer support and they were able to send out the broken peices free of charge. Overall very happy with Purchase.

Bought a travel tea set advertised 2 teacups 75ml and a teapot 270ml.

Ordered Jan 9th received 20th.

I received today a bare 225ml tea pot with 3 cups of...25ml each.

Took pictures to document the review on their site, on the product page, to share with other customers.

The product page disappeared from their site just a few minutes after posting my review, no email from customer service to me...

Product and service do not inspire trust.

Edit: product reappeared on their site, customer service "offered" a refund IF and AFTER I delete the negative review. Really? So, they ended up deleting my review...themselves! Feng Shui.

Love my cute little tea set! Customer service was also very friendly and helpful.

My oldest child is majoring in Asian Studies and Mandarin, and asked for a quality tea ceremony set. We worked together to find the right one and were delighted to find the koi on the set is three dimensional, not just painted on. The selection of tea varieties rounded out the gift. I had a great experience and required a little help from customer service, who were great. We’ll be shopping here again!

Bought nice lotus green tea set and tea tray!
Tray was very nice crafted bigger than I thought!Tea set was beautiful quick shipping but, took a little longer the holiday season thru usps!! Got it right on Christmas Eve!

The tea set I ordered arrived beautifully packaged but unfortunately the lid to the teapot was broken. I notified customer service immediately and they took care of sending a new lid. They were great to communicate with, I will definitely purchase from them again in the future.

I ordered a tea set for my step mother for her birthday. After placing the order I reached out to the team via their chat and asked if I could get a gift receipt. Not only did they make a gift receipt but they also insisted on writing a card to be included in the box. It was an example of how this company will go above and beyond for you. My step mother tells me the tea is flavorful and earthy. She loves it.

I bought a tea warmer and glass kettle from them. The pieces are very well made! Beautiful pieces! They have phenomenal customer service also. I reached out to them a couple of times, as I was having a hard time finding the correct plug adapter for in the U.S.. They were patient and wonderful to work with. I will 💯 recommend them to anyone and will purchase from them again. I have 2 iron kettles on my wishlist right now!
