We booked The Harbour Lookout property at Gardenstown on the Moray coast in Scotland. The property was excellent, beautifully furnished and in pristine condition. The frontage overlooked Gamrie Bay with its pretty harbour, dramatic landscape and even dolphins. The coastal paths link numerous pretty villages, beaches, castles and coves to explore. All in all a fantastic property in a stunning location, probably the best we have stayed at in Scotland. Many thanks to owners Amanda and JIm and to Unique Cottages for a great fortnight

The Folly was beautiful, we had all we needed for our stay; met all our expectations and more! Stunning views across to the River Tweed, peaceful countryside and woodland walks through the estate and a stop-off at the tearooms... wonderful! Melrose its self is so charming & quaint and offers art shops, cafes gift shops, everything you might need etc.

Lovely cottage, very clean and spacious and well equipted with everything you needed. As a frontline worker, since the start of covid, this was my first time away, was so relaxing, I only wished we had booked for 2 weeks. Will definetly be returning soon.

Beautifully decorated - good quality equipment, fittings and furniture - en suite in every bedroom - very well situated for the village.
Would have appreciated a welcome pack with kitchen essentials such as pan scrub, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets etc. but the cottage is highly recommended.

Had to delay our return to Dalmunzie for twelve months due to COVID but it was so worth the wait, being able to eventually celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday with the family in such amazing surroundings something to remember for all time. Dalmunzie House was everything we could have hoped for, even down to the table tennis table in the garage, while the view down the valley from the main bedroom surely couldn’t be bettered the world over. Just hope I get the same present for my 60th, as does Frankie, our cockerpoo!

Great cabin in a fabulous private location overlooking the bay at Carsaig. The photos do not do the cabin justice, as it is far more spacious than we expected, nicely furnished, and well equipped. Good location for exploring the Ross of Mull, although the single track road from Carsaig to the 'main' road has few passing places. Recommended if you fancy a cosy cabin off the beaten track, but within an hour of some of Mull's great beaches, and, of course, Iona.

Unique Cottages offers a great selection of accommodation and provides detailed and accurate information about the properties they represent. It was easy to book and, close to the time of our visit, we received timely and useful information about our chosen cottage and location. The refundable security deposit was returned promptly after our visit. Thank you.

I can say we have now had two stays at Kilninver and both were superb, we had good weather as well

The manse is very clean and comfortable and Martin Petrie is very helpful and friendly.

Have taken a good few holidays with Ecosse Unique and all have been excellent.

There are very few adjectives that can adequately describe this property. The Tardis like exterior contains everything that is required for a very enjoyable holiday. As well as being left a stunning welcome pack full of tasty goodies, there was a more than adequate supply of fuel for the wood burner. Having been blessed with good weather we made full use of the decking area for eating, drinking and just sitting enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding area by the banks of the River Tweed. Without the need to move the car the estate offers many walks within its grounds which adds to the delight of the property’s situation. William, the estate owner, made a point of welcoming us on the day of arrival and again paying us a visit at the end of our stay to ensure everything had been to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend for a get away from it all break.

What a f@bulous location for a wonderful house. Everything you could ask for and all the best quality. The sunsets were beautiful and just wonderful views all day long. Sincerely hope to go back to enjoy a great holiday. Thanks to the owners for letting us be a part of it

Good service, great price and a really lovely place to stay

Wonderful stay at The Old Lobster House in Burnmouth. This cottage has it all, wonderful views , unique location right on the sea wall in a lovely peaceful location. Great for a relaxing stay, or easy access to superb coastal walks and fabulous coastal villages . Close to the town of Berwick too. The cottage has everything you could possibly wish for . It is an absolute gem. Lovely to find milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine as a welcome start to the holiday break.
This is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed. Maintained to a very high standard and feels lovely and homely inside . Heading back next year-- it's booked !

The cottage we rented was lovely but the description wasn't completely accurate. It said we had direct access to a beach but you couldn't get to it unless you were prepared to climb over rocks and drop down!

I thought taking a security deposit of £150 a little outdated and the correspondence from the company was a bit brusque.

Straightforward process to book and pay for a holiday home for a week. Good description of property and clear guidelines. I would recommend.

Unique cottages always responds quickly to enquiries. They update you on covid regulations & give advice. Additional cleaning is in place at all their cottages. All the cottages we have booked have been excellent

Riddell house was a fantastic property. Made very welcome by hosts. Facilities are excellent and would recommend highly.

Just returned from Altt Beithe cottage, Acharacle. Everything with booking was excellent. Very disappointed with the condition of the cottage. Walls had mould with dampness, windows in kitchen didn’t open and on arriving the cottage had a terrible smell. The shower room radiator didn’t work and tiles on floor were filthy on the grout as was the wall tiles at shower area. Such a pity as the surrounding of this cottage are fantastic. Needs a wee bit TLC.

Having spent a very satisfactory week at Wollrig cottage in the borders. Unique handled the booking efficiently but the quality and thoughtfulness by the owner of the property was exemplary. The garden and surrounds were a joy. Well recommended for those who are fit.
