first time needing my warranty. Major electrical problems. Took it to the dealer and United covered it with 1 phone call from the service dept.

United car care extended warranty
I got a used car for my son and they mentioned United car care as an extended warranty. Even though I was hesitant at first, I was glad I bought it because the engine in the car died after just a few months! I called united car care and they were honest about everything and helpful throughout the process.

Consumer BEWARE! United Car Care is a contract administrator for Car Shield vehilcle warranties. Two claims denied. No process to appeal, review or mediate resolution. Don't purchase Car Shield or any insurance which used United Car Care. No coverage for what we paid for. These two companies do not deserve a one star.

My United Car Care Experience
My experience with United Car care has been positive. I purchased an extended warranty from them and when my car needed an emergency repair, they quickly helped me file a claim and get the mechanical issue fixed. I highly recommend!

I am so happy I got my extended warranty
I am so happy I got my extended warranty from United Car Care. It really saved me so much money. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't get it. I am so pleased with my experience so far. I have had a couple repairs that would have broke me if I didn't have this extended warranty. I have saved a few thousand dollars so far and it means so much, especially right now around christmas because I can really give what I want to my loved ones. Thanks so much, UCC!

Complete scam
Complete scam - my engine blew at only 34,000 miles and they denied the claim. They couldn't find a legitimate reason to deny the claim, so they went digging through my social media profile to try to find pictures of me "racing" (which I wasn't) and find unrelated excuses like upgraded my tires from the OEM Continental tires to nicer Michelin Pilot Sport (an OEM quality tire) in the same exact size. Total con artists, this warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. I had the Gold contract for what it's worth. Don't count on them honoring the warranty if the repair is expensive, they have a team trained to find technicalities to get out of their responsibility.

The coverages sold to me over the phone…
The coverages sold to me over the phone are not the same as the contact they listed milage wrong in the contract and denied a claim for a part that in the phone conversation said would be a covered part.
The adjuster trying to claim pre existing when it is not they take 3600.00 for a warranty and easily will say this just to not pay the claim
They are after your money and don't pay claims

Wouldn't recommend ANYONE to use United Car Care. They don't stand by what they advertise. Their customer Service is offending and rude. Their adjusters are not professional and aren't worried at all about their customers safety when it comes to the vehicles their company claims to cover.
BOTTOM LINE: United Car Care warranty services are atrocious.
DO NOT purchase United Car Care Warranties. You'll be wasting your money. Buy a quality warranty services else where.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Pathetic experience with the customer service. Wasted 1 hour trying to explain why I don't need the insurance and they just don't want to cancel your insurance. It's a huge scam. The moment you mention that you want to cancel the insurance, they start offering 'loyalty bonuses' to reduce the premiums. Do yourself a favor and get your insurance from someplace else.
