Universal Windows Direct Avis 

Recently bought 4 windows, and got 2 for free. Project cost $13,142, Price per window $3,2885.50. Did not receive itemized invoice when I ordered, if I had, would have cancelled the windows. Still haven't received an itemized invoice. Window Cost Calculator on the internet said to expect Universal Windows Direct to have prices fall between $450 and $1300. This is nearly a 300% overage which is usurpment

Excellent instalation of windows. The gentleman called and informed us he would be a little late due to a trailer flat tire. He immediately began removal of old windows. He was efficient, the first window was in in no time. The larger pair went in just as fast. He sealed the inside of the windows first. Then worked on outside. They look amazing. The service promised (Window Install) was to be completed by 26 September 2024 and the service hasn't been completed/delivered. I was misquoted my window installation completion date and was not informed of a charge order, which delayed my window install for 2 months, per management. Don’t believe salesperson (Josh) is still with the company, because I asked for a return call from him to explain what was the issue with my delivery date. The return call never happened. Get all conversation agreed upon in writing and verified it's correctness. Do not rely on their contract to cover the verbal agreement made between you and the salesperson. As they will continue to reference their contract as their guide for all non deliveries, and any other issues that may occur. Universal windows will disregard the agreement that was stated between you and the salesperson, which I relied on the salesperson to note my concerns. That wasn't done and my explanation didn’t matter when talking with Universal Windows’ Management. My delievery date was very important to me because I was to be on Int’l travel the end of September 2024. Work/order hasn’t been completed yet (11 November 2024).

They took extra time and care to install the windows and we're very fast and efficient I'm happy with there service thanks lots!

Jesse was great to work with. He explained everything he did & was great with our dog. He cleaned up every scrap of debris. Except for the windows, you'd never know he was here. Thank you to Universal Windows for an exceptional product and an amazing installer!

Changed my google review from a 5 to a 1. They did not have all of the pieces they needed to finish the work. I figured another week all would be taken care of. Months later and multiple visits and still not complete. Tried to speak to someone that had some authority got nowhere. Had an individual call me from there to ask how satisfied I was, i let him now, quite friendly I might add, that I was very dissatisfied, and he hung up. They just don't care that a customer has to make arrangements to be here for them to finish work that never gets finished. I will never use this company again.

I paid 2000 for a picture window waited 8 weeks and they show up with a window that was 12 inches wide instead of 8 feet. Now told it will be another 8 weeks. Wasted my time. Not happy. No confirmation they will order the right window this time.

Crap quality install. Wish I could attach photos. Truly horrible.

I want to let y’all know that Carlo Tomasi, our UWD sales person was terrific. He explained everything about the company and the products. When I had any questions he answered them. He went above and beyond in making sure that we were satisfied. I appreciated the fact he didn’t just make the sale but followed through until they were installed and I was happy.

Sales reps are way too pushy. I do not need them calling me once a month asking what improvements I need, trying to schedule a sales rep out for a quote and not taking no for an answer. I spent $15,000 to replace all my windows stop calling me and trying to get more money out of me. I will call when I’m ready. It’s so frustrating when a sales rep does not take no for an answer.

I had windows installed March 2024. A month later golf ball hit my window and broke it. I called the company as the warranty states that the window will be replaced free of charge. It is now October and I have not heard anything about the window every time I call it’s a same story. I can’t ever reach a supervisor and nobody ever calls me back. I’m not happy with the company. I would never recommend them. It’s very disrespectful of this company not to reach out to me all the times I was promised that a supervisor would return my call.
So I am now seven months on from when my window first got broken and I called the company. No one has any idea where my window is and no one is ever available to talk to. Do yourself a favor and don’t go with this company.
