Clearly a professionally run mid-sized company! Just followed their instructions, sent off my Prius console for repair, it came back, I installed it and whallah, it worked! Their video on getting the console out of the car was key to being able to do so and not fret about it. Thank you!

Repairs were done well, with clear communication of status. Everything works as it should now. Repair was slightly delayed due to multiple parts needing to be ordered non-consecutively, with one set being misplaced, by either the cpurier or Upfix (uncertain and no clear indication of whose fault).

I do not recommend their services. Initially, I sent my ECU, which they claimed they could not communicate with. They recommended to perform a cloning service to a donor unit that would transfer my software. They assured me that the new unit would be plug and play. Consequently, I purchased and mailed another unit for cloning. Upon receiving it back, I discovered that the cloning had not been successful, as nearly every check engine light was illuminated, accompanied by a list of error codes, and several functions of the car, such as the AC and power steering, were inoperative. After several days of back-and-forth communication with them, they ultimately conceded that the cloning had indeed failed. When I requested a prepaid return label, which they were supposed to provide, the communication ceased. Two days passed without a response, prompting me to demand an answer by a specific time, yet I received nothing. As a result, I was compelled to send both units to a different company, which tested my original unit and determined that it only required a ground circuit chip replacement. I disputed the charges with my credit card company, and within an hour, I received a response stating that they could not assist me because I had disputed the charges and subsequently closed my account. They agreed to refund the service charge but none of the shipping charges because of their error not to mention I didn’t need a donor unit that I paid for and had to pay for shipping and repairs to another company.

2012 Mazda5 TCM failure. Sent failed module to UpFix, and a week was informed that it was "unrepairable," and if I wanted the old TCM back it would cost me $100 + shipping. Instead, I ordered a replacement from Circuit Board Medics and was back up and running within a few days. My big mistake was not going with Circuit Board Medics in the first place!

Shipping easy but communication not so much. Said they couldnt repair but then sent me a message saying it was damaged in transport, then sent back to me all in the matter of 2 days after receiving. I was charged $55 fee though!

Be aware: This company appears to be acting in bad faith.

I received an offer to send in my device for repair, and they clearly stated that the bench test would be free.

After the device arrived, they told me they did not have the parts needed to complete the repair, but they still insisted that I pay them. That is not what was represented to me before I sent the device in.

Only after multiple calls and written follow-ups did they finally agree to return the device, and only after I paid for shipping.

Based on my experience, I would be very cautious before sending them any device or equipment.

This company is horrible and not trustworthy. I spent hundreds of dollars plus shipping for a job they said they could do and when the parts came back, they weren’t fixed. Run around calling them and not being able to get a hold of them. When you look up reviews they’re all positive and it seems they’re being falsely generated on Google because when you read bbb reviews and yelp for their other business “myairbags” it’s the same story as mine. Don’t be deceived by the fake reviews and do some research! Steer clear!

They tried to fix the ACM module on my ford and failed two times. I wasted time taking the dashboard apart and removing the module twice. The second time I reported the issue they provided some vague troubleshooting tips and then stopped responding. I took my car to the dealer and they fixed the issue. I wasted $400 with UpFix. The dealer charged me $800 and that included a replacement ACM and returned the car in 3 days. I could have saved weeks of having an inoperable car and $400. Don't use this service. The dealer may cost more but the fix is guaranteed. They did refund $299 of the $400 after I informed them of the fix. I still would not recommend.

I’m not really happy with the request I did. For pictures video for the repair I asked and you only send me pictures for the part

UpFix fixed the control board on my very old discontinued GEwall oven. We thought we would have to replace the oven but the control board was able to be repaired in less than a 12 hour turnaround and now oven is working. Excellent communication every step of the way. Thank you UpFix!

When we 1st called UpFix, me & my husband had LOTS of questions & they answered every question we had. We sent the codes that were coming up from our scanner & I was very impressed with the detailed tech work that was documented for my ABS.
I also loved the fact that you don’t have to pay up front. Once it was fixed, then you pay to ship back to you!!

Communication was excellent and turnaround tme was fast. However, outreach communication after submitting a circuit board for repair were misguided since my submitted narrative already answered the questions posed. It gave pause whether anyone had bothered to carefully read what I submitted. The out of production circuit board in question comprised a majority of passive components, plus two ICs and a complex LCD display. I believe UpFix's experience with this board indicates likely unrepairability due to a firmware issue which could have been published before the fact as a cautionary note.. Response to my narrative could have avoided lost time and cost.
