Absolutely fantastic service
Absolutely noting only good things to say about Urba , they are very helpful and always so professional. Their work is second to none 🥰 always a pleasure to go to the salon with fantastic service.

My girlfriend booked microblading for…
My girlfriend booked microblading for today at 11, we travelled 45 mins to get there, when the girl can eout she said that she could not do the eyebrows if my girlfriend was not wearing a mask, she has an exemption and a recovery cert. So she left, she went back a few minutes later and the girl said she could do it as she has a covid recover cert but that it was too late, 10 minutes had elapsed. What a disgrace this place is. Turning down €400 cash. Also they only accept cash, no cards.

We send an email to our all Phibrow clients containing an information pack regarding the treatment and why the treatment is cash only. Your girlfriend was emailed this information pack (twice) using the email address that she sent us by text. We had also asked her to ensure that she read this info pack before arriving for her treatment.
A Consultation form for this treatment (and any of our treatments) is also emailed to all of our clients. This form is to be completed by the client before they arrive in for their treatment. In this form it gives our clients a chance to answer some questions regarding their medical history - this is an absolute must in order for us to determine if it is safe to do the treatment. This would also give a clients a chance to let us know if they are exempt from wearing a mask.
A confirmation by email and text is also sent to our clients to confirm their appointment and to remind them of our policies and procedure i.e. you must wear a mask in our clinic.
As the Phibrow treatment is so close contact for over 2 hours we simply cannot perform the treatment if a client isn't wearing a mask as it puts our Therapists at risk. If the consultation form had been read prior to your appointment as we requested it may have saved you the 45 minute trip and would have allowed us to book our therapist with a client who was eligible for the treatment.
Your girlfriend did come back in 10minutes later to say she would try to wear a facemask but yes at that stage we did say it was too late as she had yet not completed her consultation form which would take another 10minutes to complete - we are a busy salon, 20minutes makes a huge difference to our appointments and we have appointments scheduled for the rest of the day.
I understand your frustration but however perhaps after reading the above perhaps you will be slightly more understanding of the situation.
Your girlfriend did rebook two other treatments with us in the next few weeks, again, a consultation form will be emailed along with a confirmation email and text reminder.

One stop shop for all things skin related.
Absolutely love the ladies of Urba Beauty! They are so friendly and helpful, and have played a major role in educating, advising, and supporting me regarding issues with my skin (especially my therapist Ailbhe). Also my visits to the salon always help me feel better about myself, and are essential in my self care journey. I cannot wait until you guys reopen!

I trust Urba 100% when it comes to skin
I just love Debbie and the team at Urba. They're a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skin. Debbie only stocks products that she truly believes in so you know they're going to work. I had a skin consultation recently and was recommended products. After one week I already see a difference. I trust them 100%. I wouldn't buy my skincare anywhere else now and I'm only delighted to give the business to a small Irish business.
