Do not believe a single word about their "3-level quality inspection." It is complete marketing fiction.

A tire is not just any product; a compromised tire puts vehicles, passengers, and human lives at direct physical risk on the road.

Sending one defective tire is a mistake, but sending a second defective one after being explicitly asked to inspect it shows total disregard for basic quality standards.

I received defective, punctured tires two times in a row, forcing me through two exhausting rounds of tire shop visits and lost time:

Tire #1 - Full Installation & Total Loss of Time: I took the first tire to a shop, went through the entire mounting and balancing process, and only then found out it was defective. I had to get it unmounted, waste hours hauling a dirty tire back to FedEx, and drive on an unsafe tire for over a week waiting for a replacement.
The "3-Level Inspection" Lie: Before shipping the replacement, I reminded their team at least ten times to put it through their strict 3-level inspection to guarantee zero punctures. They assured me it was thoroughly checked and ready to go.

Tire #2 - Defective Again: Back at the shop for a second time, we submerged the pressurized tire in a water tank before mounting. Immediately, air bubbles poured out with an audible hissing sound. Their "triple-inspected" replacement was punctured straight out of the box.

Their "Resolution" Solves Nothing: Yes, they reimbursed part of my shop labor and threw in a tiny 10% discount, but covering the bare-minimum costs caused by their own negligence doesn't make up for days of wasted time, extreme stress, safety risks, and the fact that am still left with a compromised, patched tire instead of the road-ready product bought.
Covering basic repair costs after failing twice doesn't fix a broken inspection system. Avoid this company at all costs.

I understand ordering used tires, but I recieved quite a worn tire. Reached out and they gave a copy/paste response with no action taken to correct it.

Do not expect them accept liability for a defective item. Do not purchase any item but new from this website.

Sold me a tire with sidewall damage and tire would just leak air out of the sidewall. Took photos of the leak and let them know. They said there is nothing they can do because it was a few days after installation that we contacted them to let them know. Probably wouldn't buy from them again.

Sent me a tire with a nail in it. Offered me 10% refund and cost to repair tire. Let me know that they wanted 100% satisfaction. I told them that 15% would make me satisfied and they declined. I then wanted to return my entire order, and they put that cost on me. Terrible.

I purchased two used tires from United Tires for my 2014 GMC Acadia Denali, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The first issue occurred with shipping. My order was for two tires, but only one tire was shipped initially. I had to contact customer service before they sent the second tire, which delayed the installation.
After both tires were finally installed by a professional shop, the vehicle also received a wheel alignment. Within a few weeks, both tires experienced problems. One tire developed a leak and had to be repaired, and the other suffered a catastrophic sidewall failure.
When I contacted United Tires, they responded promptly and asked me to provide photos of the tire, the DOT code, the damaged area, the installation receipt, and the alignment report. After reviewing everything, they denied my request for a refund because the issue was reported outside of their 7-day warranty window.
To their credit, they did offer a one-time replacement tire as a goodwill gesture. However, after experiencing issues with both tires so soon after installation—including one catastrophic failure—I was no longer comfortable accepting another used tire. I asked if they would instead refund the purchase price of the failed tire, but they declined.
I appreciate that their customer service was responsive and that they offered a replacement, but I expected more from a company selling tires. Between the shipping mistake, the problems with both tires, and the refusal to refund a tire that failed so soon after installation, I cannot recommend purchasing used tires from United Tires.

Ordered 4 tires with 7/32 dept.
Got 2 at 7/32 and 2 at 5/32 for $169.
Spent another $131 installation.
When my mechanic saw them he told me the front 2 were wasted. He measured them at 5/32. Reached out to utires.com and they refunded me $20.
A real theft. Stay away from this guy.

I purchased two sets of tires, all used. Each had over 7mm in tread. Price was good. Delivery was ok.

One tire had a hole in it. It took more than a week to identify and get it fixed. Be careful of their 7-day policy in this situation. They refused to pay for the patch and make it right.

Ordered a new set of 4. Only 2 of the tires are ones that I would trust. The other two both had repairs on shoulder of each. According to THEIR standards, it’s acceptable. According to pretty much everywhere else, it’s unacceptable. Also one repair was not plugged properly and had the internal cord/wire visibly through the repair. I talked to customer service about some sort of compensation and they just fell right on the fact that the repair is acceptable because it’s not directly in the sidewall. I will be returning and never ordering from this company again. Complete waste of my time and money for shipping costs.

I needed a replacement all terrain tire for a dually pickup. The rest of the tires were about 60% so I wanted a used tire to match. United tire has a large selection so it was easy to find the right tire. The price was very good delivery was reasonably fast and communication from the company was excellent. What more could you ask for. I recommend this company and will go there for my future tire needs.

I ordered the tires a person calls me and asked me if I want tires shipped or if I want to pick them up because I'm close I agree I am like 20-30 minutes away I can come pick them up what time tomorrow 9:00 a.m. do you want tires to be installed since are you going to be there yes that's fine I want tires to be installed I come there 9:00 a.m. I confirm I wait 1 hour for them to tell me that the tires are not there and they're waiting for FedEx to ship it today what's the point to ask me to pick them up if they are not there, and the cherry on the cake is 10% off of my order. I've bought 4 sets of tires over the years. Today they gave me a 10 year old tire and wouldn't take it back. They said they "visually inspected it." People die when tires separate and every tire company says that 10 years old is unsafe at any speed.

I had a very poor experience with UTire. If you’re not 100% sure about the exact tire specifications (size, tread depth, etc.), I strongly recommend not ordering from them.

They charge a $30 return shipping fee if the tire is incorrect and you choose not to purchase a replacement from them. On top of that, you still have to pay around $50 for installation and balancing. By the time everything is done, you end up losing a significant portion of your money.

Customer service was also disappointing—unhelpful and rude, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.

In my opinion, it’s much better to go to a local shop—whether for new or used tires—where you can see the product in person and have it installed on the spot.

Overall, I would not recommend this service.

Really cheap tire came worked good. The only problem was there was a delivery patch up and they didn’t take accountability for it. I need it to be on the phone with FedEx for a while without them telling me anything what’s going on that the delivery failed when I asked for a refund they said no.

Please do NOT buy tires from this company if you value your time, money, and safety.

They sounded professional on the phone, and I specifically requested pricier, high-quality used tires with no patches and good tread. Unfortunately, one of the tires failed almost immediately and went completely flat late at night, leaving me stranded.

It was close to midnight, and I had to figure out how to get home, find a ride, and then rearrange my entire weekend to deal with the situation. It was stressful, inconvenient, and completely avoidable.

The next day, a mechanic found a large hole in the tire, and I had to replace it with a brand-new one.

When I contacted the company, they told me to ship the defective tire back — putting even more time and effort on me — and showed no concern for the situation or the safety risk it caused. They simply pointed to their return policy, taking no responsibility for selling a faulty product that led to so much stress and safety risk.

Their claims about inspecting tires are clearly not true. With a policy like their’s, they simply lose nothing by selling defective products and the clients interests are not protected in any way.

Do yourself a favor — go somewhere reliable like Walmart or Costco for peace of mind and safety. This company won’t care when things go wrong

Same experience that others have mentioned. Sidewall leak on one of 4 tires. Hid behind policy and wouldn't solve the problem they created. I was left without a car for a week over Christmas. Solved my own problem by renting a car. No compensation from Utires at all.

Buyer beware, if any of the tires have a problem you will be up a creek without a paddle. And they won't help you find a paddle.

United Tires has no integrity, no accountability, and no concept of customer service. They hide behind “policy” instead of doing what’s right.

I bought a set of two matching tires, sold as a single product. One arrived defective with a sidewall leak, making the entire set useless. Their “solution”? Replace one tire with a different brand (leaving me with mismatched tires) or refund both but only reimburse half of my installation cost because “only one” was defective.

That logic is absurd. I didn’t buy two individual tires…I bought one set. Both were installed together, and because one was defective, the whole set was worthless. I shouldn’t have to eat half the installation cost for a product that was defective from the start (and I’m not even factoring in the extra cost to dismount and remount new tires).

Their website proudly claims every tire is inspected and tested before shipping, yet clearly that’s not true. Otherwise, how would a tire with a major sidewall leak pass “inspection”? They clearly just buy and flip tires without real testing.

The most telling part of this company’s low standards is that the person handling my case was their Chief Customer Officer, Brian Collins. How does someone with that title refuse to take responsibility or do right by the customer? I’m a repeat buyer too, but loyalty means nothing to this company.

For the minimal cost of doing the right thing, United Tires would rather show no accountability, no ethics, and no respect for their customers.

Save yourself the frustration and extra expense by buying tires somewhere else. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying more to fix the mistakes they refuse to own.
